[Resolved] Samsung Service Center — APM Instacare charging Sales and Service tax for Extended warranty | |||
I Senthil M residing in Besant Nagar Chennai purchased a 65" Samsung Curved LED TV and requested for an extended warranty. When contacted by APM Instacare who is authorised service company for Samsung gave a quote of Rs.12600 + taxes. Taxes rolled upto Rs.3385 thus making a total cost of 15, 985. When requested for breakdown the company associate showed a laminated sheet of paper that quotes Charges 12600 + 14.5% sales tax Rs.1828 + Service tax of 12.36% Rs.1557. When requested for breakdown of charges and taxes on the receipt i have not received anything yet. Please advice on how to proceed. Was this information helpful? | |||
