Dear Sir,
I have a 3D LED TV of Samsung of the above model number bought in Oct 2010. It had a few lines on the panel and hence I had asked for a Samsung Engineer to look into it. the TV was functioning except for the horizontal lines seen on the panel. The Service order [protected] was made and your engineer came and saw the TV. At first he could not understand the problem. Then he bought another engineer. both of them opened the TV and tried to work on the problem. After some time the Engineers said that the panel display was erroneous and the Panel need to be changed that would cost me 30000 Rs. By this time my TV was totally non function able and the display was also off.
I paid 5000 advance and was ready to change the panel. A receipt was also given to me. Next day the engineer once more phoned me and said that the panel was not available with the company and that I will have to surrender the TV and the Company will pay me a refund.
the next day he told me to hand over 3 documents viz. Cancelled cheque, original buying receipt of the TV and Pan Card. I kept all documents ready. then the Engineer phoned me and said that since the TV is 5 years old, I will get only 20000 refund for a TV which I bought at a price of 1, 20, 000. He says that this is a depreciation amount of 83%. I asked him to produce the policy of the company in this regard to which he flatly refused.
Now my TV is not working. I have no Samsung Policy with me and the TV is lying idle.
I had full faith in Samsung which is why I have a 3 Samsung ACs, Refrigerator and Smart phones.
But now I feel cheated. Kindly help
