[Resolved]  Samsung — The Fridge has manufacturing fault from the brand side and they are not replacing and providing me half Refund

I bought a samsung refrigerator (Model No. RT39K5518S8) on 5th march 2019 from Vijay sales which comes with 1 year warranty and 10 year compressor warranty, now on 11th of march 2021 my refrigerator broke down, there was no cooling so I registered a complaint with Samsung for repairing on that same day, As my refrigerator warranty is expired they told me the service and Labor charge for visit will be 400 + Gst, I agreed and booked complaint with them, Since then 4 different technicians have visited my place to diagnose the exact fault, first they suggested the gas must be leaking so they have to get it checked by another technician, next day 2 other guys came with their own faulty equipment's and were not able to fix the issue, wasted my whole day. next day they came with new equipment's and now instead of going with normal repair of filling up the gas one of their technician suggested me to get my fridge checked for any internal leakage in the refrigerator body because if that's the situation then it will be beyond the scope of repairing and they will declare it as non repairable product, he also mentioned that if I will not follow this procedure and proceed with the normal gas filling repair there is a high possibility that this issue can reoccur and I have to spend the money again for repairing in 3-4 months. now that totally makes sense because if there is an internal leakage it's a product fault and If I ask them to proceed with normal gas filling without finding the root cause then this will reoccur in several months, so I agreed to what he suggested and they initiated the process of filling up my fridge with nitrogen gas and left the gas meters attached to it for 24 hrs just to monitors if the pressure reduces. next day when they came back to check there was indeed 10% reduction in the pressure which concludes that there is an internal leakage in my fridge and now they cannot repair it any further. now this whole procedure took them 7 days and as of 17th march they told me to wait for around 10 more days to get the exact idea of what the next step will be from brand, their technician told me that they will replace the product or I'll get the refund, on top of that they charged me 972₹ for all these diagnosis which didn't actually solve my problem but wasted a lot of time. I have talked to CUSTOMER care and escalated my case with them twice, have contacted them for more than 50 times and now finally on 19th march I get a call from service center and they told me that I will get refund but they will deduct 44% of depriciation value from my total Invoice amount because the fridge warranty is only 1 year. Yes you read it right! There is no fault from my side, the company is not able repair the product, it is proven that it was a manufacturing fault in the product (Just google "samsung double door internal gas leakage" and see how many people are scammed by this ### company for the same problem) and still they are like CUSTOMER has to bear the loss, after dealing with so much hassle and their pathetic CUSTOMER service and they have audacity to deduct 44% of amount. This is so terrible I am never gonna buy a samsung product now.

My registered complaint no with samsung CUSTOMER care is : [protected] also I've denied their offer of 44% deduction in refund and asked them to escalate it with concerned department to which their executive provided me a VOC no. [protected]

I've attached my Invoice and Service center invoice that was done by samsung service center (QARMATEK SERVICES PVT LTD) for which they charged me 972 rs.

I'm now facing same issue. For this the company can offer only 10% depreciation. For 4years old product, just 3k compensation is not acceptable. This s clear cut manufacturing defect, worst product. I will never for samsung again. I recommend the same for all customers.
