Samsung LED Half screen black display just after 1 year 4 months Hello, I purchased Samsung 40 Inch LED TV Model Number : UA40F5100ARLXL, Serial Number : MQWM3PBD400046L for Rs 50000 on 15 AUG 2013 from Chandra Traders, a Samsung dealer in Velachery Chennai. It worked fine for 1 year and 4 months and then on 1st Feb 2015 just after only 4 months after warranty expired, it developed a problem of dark screen in the bottom half of the display screen. I called Samsung service Complain Number :[protected]. Mr.Sukumar, a technician from Samsung came to my house for sorting out the issue. After going through the television set, he has suggested to replace the panel at a cost of Rs 22033.. It is just 1 year and 4 months after I bought the TV for Rs 50, 000 and now it is worth nothing. It is a product defect and certainly Samsung should take responsibility for the screen. On this above context, I am requesting / appealing to SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS to take up this as very special / exceptional case and replace the PANEL at minimum cost as it is just 1 year old TV. It is my expectation from you, to look into this and show a way out, to solve the issue cordially so that the customer satisfaction is highly appreciated. It is very hurting when it happens to the loyal customer of Samsung (Account No – [protected]).
