My phone shuts off whenever I flip it. It seems that this is a very common issue with these phones globally. They state that there is some damage to the hinge, hence the warranty is void. He said this even without opening the phone. The issue can be with the motherboard, the issue can be with the battery, but him stating that the issue is with the display & asking me to pay INR 30, 000 for repair, seems to me that they know that these phones have a faulty part. There is hardly any damage on the hinge, its just minor scratch from everyday use. Never did it fall anywhere & I use a protective case. When I escalated this to the customer care, they closed the request without informing me. You can find similar complaints in Amazon's review page. Attaching them for your reference. Being such a giant company with billions in revenue, it is a serious question on the integrity of the company defrauding & earning millions from these fraudulent practices. Really hope to see some kind of strict action against them.
