I purchased a W/M Samsung WW70T4020CX1TL-(51000) from M/S Venu's Arcade, Wadakkanchery, Thrissur Kerala on 09th Dec 2022. The machine stopped working on Sunday, 12th Feb 2022. The service engineer came on the next day. after inspecting, he concluded that the cord wire has burnt and the fault was with the socket. The wiring in my house is new and the sockets are specially designed to meet the W/M, Refrigerator and Air Conditioners. I was told that the cord wire does not fall in the WARRANTY and I would be required to make payment. I made an advance payment of Rs. 500/- and the work would be completed within 2 days. On re enquiry I am told the work will be completed by 25th Feb 2023. The point I would like to raise :
1. How did the service engineer conclude that the fault was with the socket/wiring rather than the product. The Electrician is of the view that the pins in the plug were loose.
2. Why did the service engineer at the time of Installation did not find any fault in the socket.
3. I was told that the bill is the guarantee card and will serve the purpose and WHY the company did not provide GUARANTEE CARD and why changing the goal post when the machine became unserviceable.
4. Why I need to wait such long for repairing of my Machine under warranty. Was this information helpful? |
