Sir Re — saraswat bank exploits customers Undue cheque book charges — I was maintaining savings bank account with saraswat bank, D b marg, mumbai central branch since november 1998. I had To close this savings bank account since i am shifting. I had obtained only tow cheque books during tenure of this account, second cheque book i was compelled to take since account number Was changed because of shifting of branch premises. I regret & inform, saraswat bank has charged rs 330 / as closure Cheque charges, even though i had taken only 2 cheque books so far This is clear case of exploitation of customers by saraswat bank. I had Contacted chief general manager[nodal officer ] mr a s jain, sent emails, Contacted telephonically, similarly branch manager too was contacted but No response at all. This exposes lack of business ethics, very poor customer Service.
