I have an SBI insurance policy which was to be renewed on 24-Apr. The payment against this policy was successfully completed and a confirmation message was received on 23-Apr. However, SBI tried to auto detect against the renewal on 24th Apr, the attempt was declined due to insufficient balance. This action has caused me a loss of Rs.590 against the failed transaction made on my ICICI account. SBI even sent me a couple of texts on the auto detect failure. Their system did not recognize my payment and ended up costing me money, my credit score, and a big headache. The icing on the cake was when the local SBI executive called me to fill out the survey, and even asked me to send the survey for them to fill it from their end.
