We have received call on our office landline asking for one of our staff member. He identified himself as calling from SBI Cards Silver Utopia Building, Andheri Chakala, Mumbai . As we have policy that unwanted calls or unofficial calls are not diverted to employees - the call has been given to me as Department Head. The call was received. When we asked for identify of employee he said his name is Vijay and shared his office address but did not share contact number.
He identified himself as calling from SBI credit card division and said that our employees credit card dues are pending. We told him that it is his personal problem and If it is personal he can get in touch with her on her personal number or in her residence and no calls will be transferred to employee.
We requested that person Vijay to not to call office landline. However, he threatened that he will call continuously and has been doing so for the last 3 days.
The SBI recovery collection agent have spoiled our work for last 3 days and it is totally not acceptable. There is no guarantee that he will not call again and again and threaten us.
This is totally cross violation of privacy by calling any one and threatening who are not at all linked with your cards / loans etc and the SBI should compensate for our mental torture and loss of business hours.
Can any one help us how we can take action against such unsolicited harassment calls from SBI collection recovery agents? Was this information helpful? |
