[Resolved] SBI Credit Cards — Credit card lost, blocked through SMS by registered Mobile Still SBI Card sent an account statement for payment. | |||
I lost my credit card on 9th September 2014. So, i blocked my credit card ending with 4009 by sending msg from my registered mobile no. [protected]. Still, SBI card sent an account statement to me for paying an amount around Rs. 600. WHEN THE CARD WAS BLOCKED ON 9th Sep., THEN HOW CAN SBI SENT ACCOUNT STATEMENT FOR ANY AMOUNT? When tried to talk to SBI cards customer care, it took half an hour to connect to the number and another half an hour to get the customer care agent on line. IS THIS PATHETIC CUSTOMER CARE SBI MAINTAINS !! Then, the care agent told that my card was blocked but account is still active. HOW COME MY ACCOUNT IS STILL ACTIVE AFTER BLOCKING THE CARD?? THE AGENT THEN DID NOT RESOLVED MY PROBLEM AND DISCONNECTED THE PHONE. CONCERNED SBI CARD AUTHORITY, PLS REVOKE/CANCEL ACCOUNT STATEMENT FOR THE MONTH OF OCT. 2014 FOR PAYING AMOUNT RS. 560.68 AND CLOSE MY ACCOUNT. ENDING WITH 4009. MY CARD IS LOST.
