SBI — education loan interest waiving

I have taken education loan for mba. For the same, i want to apply for interest waiver scheme/subsidy. I spoked the same with loan manager but he denied with it. My friends have opted have for the same and there interest on education loan principle have bene waived off. Kindly look into the matter and resolve the issue asap.
