I have booked ticket from Chennai to Bangalore on December 4th 2015.with seat no-19, 20.due to breakdown the bus has been cancelled. But the amount has not been refunded. I have enquired about the cancelation of bus in the Chennai office.but they told they will refund the amount they have not refunded my amount yet.please solve this issue soon . I called to the shama shardar travels about the amount refund issue but they not even responding ..to that issue..
They will never reply. Even i have called. they are just disconnecting the call by the time i explain the situation.

    We had booked 4 tickets from bengaluru to chennai in redbus.in for[protected] in shama sardar travels. The scheduled arrival of the bus was 11-38 P.M. and we 2 families, were at Audi showroom electronics city at 11-15 P.m. We were not informed about the late arrival of the bus... Once we called we were told it would be late and reach the point at 12:20 a.m. . Every time we called the driver would reply -in 15 minutes.. Now this took eternity of time and we were left waiting in the cold weather with nowhere to sit.. Finally the bus arrived at 1-15 a.m. But the worst was yet to come.. We found someone else occupying our seat with a ticket.. This was sorted out.. Then we found that both the families did not have blankets... The driver had a brilliant idea of switching off the AC. Then switched on the AC and told us that blankets were not available... We had paid 1300 for each of these tickets. One pair of vents in our cabin could not be closed as it was faulty and was covered with paper. We literally froze in the bus with our hands and legs going numb... It was a nightmare of a journey in the freezing conditions. The bus no way resembled the one shown in the official website, but was a national travels bus with shama sardar logo in the front. The blankets by the way were used by our educated fellow travellers who didn't care a damn about others.. We found that our blankets were used by the couple who had occupied the berth below ours. Paying a premium does not necessarily guarantee even a decent journey... Never ever opt for this travels even if it is the last means... This travels scores negative in all the departments - punctuality, service and comfort(too premium a word for this travels)

    you are lucky enough to get a chance to travel in their bus. i have not even got a chance to board it. They had kept us waiting indefinitely till next day morning.

      The bus was scheduled to leave at 10. 45 pm INSTEAD IT STARTED BY 11.30PM.The condition of bus is too bad.. a.c. blower not working properly. .. the light n chargin...Bus condition was extremely horrible as water was seeping from all sides in the so called Luxura Executive A/c Sleeper bus...The worst behaviour of the employee of shama sardar travel from chennai to dindigul reg.
      chennai to dindigul in shama sardar travels. driver spoke that we didnt start even at koyambed and spoked unmannerly.Very worst and Useless agency - Very very poor Customer service
      No one CHEATERS travels is SHAMA SARDAR TRAVELS. Please dont book the tickets in this travel.

        Horrible Experience! Booked ticket in Shama Sardar travels from Madurai to Chennai on 17th. The bus was scheduled to leave at 10.45 pm. But since the bus had only 10 passengers, they waited and waited until 12.30 am for passengers to come. Even then only a few came. After starting, the bus stopped at every corner like share auto to pick up passengers. At last when the bus reached Perungalathur, the driver dropped a bomb, saying that there was no diesel in the bus! Then we were asked to get into another bus (thank god not share auto!) and reached koyambedu at 10.30 am! Will never travel in these types of buses in future
        Shamasardar travels agency ! you cowards ! dare to call me on [protected] and address my issue.
        enough of showing your rowdy attitude to passengers.

          This is the worst travells I have ever seen... .i m travelling from coimbature to chennai and booked online .the schedule time depature time is 10.40.. n it is 12 o clock already ..it hasent started. The condition of bus is too bad.. a.c. blower not working properly. .. the light n charging points aren't working... seat is in miserable condition. The curtains are extremely dirty n torn.. they are getting too late n refusing to return the money back . The conductor n bus driver are manner less .. travelling with this travells is a nightmare .. no states ... negative rating

            I have booked 2 bus tickets on Shama Sardar Travels from Kodaikanal to chennai on 16th Aug 2015. Travels has utilized the busy day and operated three buses with exorbitant charges for the travel...Bus condition was extremely horrible as water was seeping from all sides in the so called Luxura Executive A/c Sleeper bus. Bus was having starting trouble and switching off very frequently. Every one was sitting in their seats as the beds were wet due to water seepage. The attendants were very arrogant and not answering for the queries properly. When I contacted the Travels office to complaint, no proper response and I asked them to refund my amount as the service is very bad... the office bearer asked me to get down from the bus at almost 11.00 p.m in the middle of the road was really shocking. Completely cheated the entire passengers by charging Rs.1500 per ticket and providing worst service. Requesting the concerns to lodge a complaint against this travels and do the needful in refunding my money atleast partially.

              The bitter and worst experience, I have booked a seat through Redbus for my dad, from chennai to dindigul in shama sardar travels. The bus schedule was 11.30 at perungalathur, when i called the bus driver at 12:00am the driver spoke that we didnt start even at koyambed and spoked unmannerly. I called him back at 1am allthrough the call the driver and another person working in the travel. They finally reached at 1:30am, wen i asked them politely you dont intimate the delay or something, for that person replied even president goes delay, why yu cant wait, i gave him nicely sorry for considering your travels as pioneer now came to know about your standards, from now we dont choose your travels. If my dad was not there, means i might give nicely to the spoken lips by my shoes. Lucky guy escaped .

                We had booked for journey by A/C sleeper from Tirunelveli to Chennai by Shama Sardar on the 14th June 2015 by the 9.45 pm bus in the name of Sivaramakrishnan and Abdul Irfan. We were asked to get into bus no. NL-01B-0844 and were allotted RL 3 and 4 berths. Being an Air conditioned bus, it did not have any ventilation nor was there any openable emergency exit. The bus did not start on time as there was some issue with the air conditioner and the crew/support was trying to repair the same. After sometime the crew started the bus but passengers protested that the air conditioner be repaired and then the bus could move on. However the bus started moving and with no ventilation, it became suffocating for the passengers and all o[censored]s started complaining about the same. All along the crew was comforting that the issue will be resolved. After some 30 minutes of travel the bus halted at the outskirts of Tiruneveli and the passengers wanted the crew to provide an alternate bus as it was becoming very difficult to travel in such suffocating atmosphere. After repeatedly complaining and after some passenger called up Shama Sardar office, someone from Shama Sardar called the driver and informed that alternate bus would be available at Madurai. He informed that this would however be a non A/C. After protests and arguments, passengers wanted a partial refund for the same and finally after a lot of talking over phone, it was agreed that a non A/c bus will be provided at Madurai and Rs.400 will be refunded. Passengers who did not want to proceed were informed that the refund would be granted directly by Red Bus. Two passengers ( a couple) got down at that stage and we agreed to continue based on the fact that alternate arrangement would be available at Madurai and continued the journey thinking we would be taken to Madurai. After assuring us this, the bus however did not proceed to Madurai but came back to Tirunelveli around 12 midnight. Again after a lot of questioning and arguments by various passengers, there was no clarity on whether the bus will go to Madurai and an alternate bus would be provided. We informed the crew that we will not travel without any assurance and sought a refund. Orally the crew agreed to refund and said those o[censored]s who had booked through Redbus will get the refund directly. However despite repeated requests they refused to give any acknowledgement. We got down from the bus after these oral assurances about refund as we had to reach Chennai next day morning before 10 am. We had to make alternate arrangements to reach Chennai and spent additional Rs.12767 because of this. There are a few issues that we wish to raise based on the agony and difficulties faced by us: Refund of ticket charges - how and when will this be given? Who will compensate us for the additional charges paid by us to reach Chennai? Having booked tickets and paid for it in advance, we have not been provided the necessary service. This amounts to gross deficiency in service. How will this be compensated? Our inability to reach Chennai has resulted in loss of revenue for us. How will Shama Sardar or Redbus compensate us for the mental agony as well as the revenue loss on account of our schedules/deadlines being missed? We request that suitable compensation be paid as otherwise we will be forced to approach the consumer forum. We have been given only the ticket refund but the other two issues have not been addressed

                    Hello, I have booked bus from chennai to trichy in red bus. Travel date is :30.5.2015 travels name:shama sharder A/C sleeper volvo Time:11 pm I really had a very bad experience..i have choose the boarding point as egmore ..we taught that actual bus would be starting from chennai egmore but there was some other bus and the cordinator told us that this is a connector bus and we can get down at cmbt..From there we can board the booked bus...After reaching there we didnt found that bus..we were roaming here and there to find the bus...Being old my father has starined a lot as there was no seating arrangement done for the waiting passesnger.. After that somehow we boarded bus..the bus should start by 11 bt it came by 11 only and started by 12 am...after that the bus stopped somewhere in the wasy to trichy for half an hr..Again after 2.15 am the bus stopped at chengalpattu and driver told that bus break down and it cant move.. we told them a lot to arrange a another bus..but they simply said that u need to arrange bus for urself..we cant do anytg.. All of the passengers were very upset due to this..we started getting bus from there and we had paid for that.. I kindly request you to refund the money 1800 for us its all company fault ..

                      The worst experience that I had with the staff's in the bus he doesn't even k owe how to behave with the customer .The conductor used a worst language to me and was literally abusing .I think there is some action that has to be taken .

                          Shama sardar is a worst travelling service... Im travelling from chennai to hyd now since 9pm yesterday... Still im in kurnool... Totally my journey is 20hrs... Worst experience of mine... Even though i paid 700 Rs still im facing a worst ordinary bus journey... Simply my suggestion is never prefer to this service...

                            I had booked a ticket from Vellore to Bangalore on 26th of Oct. I had booked this ticket much in advance fearing the Deepavoli rush. On 26th Oct morning 10 A.M. (My boarding time at Vellore was at 5.30 P.M.) I got a message that the bus has been cancelled. I somehow managed to reach Bangalore amidst crowd in Government buses. When I enquired back at the Vellore center, they told me that the tickets were cancelled because there were others who were ready to travel by paying a higher cost for the ticket. I have not been refunded yet and got stupid reasons from the head office people. Unethical behaviour of this travel agency has reached its peak. I read through the other complaints lodged on this travel agency and I believe enough is enough. Their license should be CANCELLED and necessary actions should be taken against the concerned people.

                              sir,
                              My self, my husband with our 3 yr old little son planned for a visit to trichy from Chennai on 30.10.2013 night through road service and I booked in tickets through online through Red bus.com.
                              since we live in kelambbakam, we didn't have any nearest boarding point on any reasonable timing i.e before 10.30P.M or so hence I chose the boarding point as koyembedu since we can reach there with a straight bus.
                              I booked a non AC sleeper for two.
                              we were all the travelled to koyembedu some one called from the travels and said bus will not come to koyembedu u come to guindy 9.30P.M
                              I was so shocked and claimed how could I travel again from koyembedu to guindy with my son and luggages with us.they were so lethargic saying i[censored] want to take up the bus you come guindy orelse u do what ever u want.
                              I was frustrated and said better you refund my ticket amount.
                              they were still sarcastic and said you go to the main office and get your refund i[censored] can.
                              we went to the main office and asked about the travel, they in the office said the particular bus will come to koyembedu to pick us.
                              we were waiting for 45 mins there in the koyembedu office and after that they said the bus will not come to koyembedu and u go to guindy to catch the bus.10.25P.M
                              we really got tensed up and claimed how can we reach guindy in 15 mins since the departure time was 10.55
                              I started shouting saying will lodge a complaint against them for treating us so badly and to mention the language used by one the staff against me was really terrible without any respect, one the staff came in and said we will send u though another bus which goes to kodaikanal via trichy.we were literally made run to catch that bus which was not in the place where the actual boarding had to be done.it was around 1 k.m from the place.
                              we felt terrible carryiny all luguages and my little son for a long distance.
                              again one of their staff made us to get in running auto in the traffic to board us the bus.
                              atlast making a fiery travel in the auto they made us sit ina bus near sangeeta Hotel.in mean time don't know, many of them called seperatly from the travel officesaying the bus is waiting for you in guindy if you are nt coming we will not refund the money back without knowing we got organised in someother bus by the same travels people.
                              we were releved that alleast we got our travel.
                              we were all set, it was already around 11.15 my son was so tired by running here and there to catch the bus.poor boy he started sleeping.again after 45 mins around 12 P.M they stopped the bus we were travelling and said how can u travel in the bus in which u have not booked saying you need travel in another bus.
                              we felt...ho not again, they made us to get down the bus with all luggages with my sleepy son and asked us to get in another bus.
                              my son was made sick all because of this and we were treated as if we are travelling for free.
                              nonsence we booked the tickets priorly around 10 days before to avoid last minute tensions.
                              instead these travels people made us tense and frustrated by the way of worst service and poor language

                                Hi all My name is gayathri.Please do not select this travel at any cost. From my experience I am sharing the information. This is the very worst travel agency.No one can found this much worst travels anywhere.I have booked the ticket in this bus for the date 4th nov 2013 at 9.35 PM through ticketgoose.I was in the boarding point at the time of 9.20 PM.and I have called the agency and checking the status of the bus. They told that It will reach in 10 minutes.Again I have called after 10 minutes.Same response.I have called another number.He told bus will reach at 10.15.Again I have waited and called to the agency at the time of 10.20.Again they replied that it will reach in 10 minutes.I got irritated and called one more number, he told It already got crossed at 9.55 PM. I was standing in the exact place.I have n't seen the bus. I have asked the driver number.He said, he dont know the driver number.I have asked the place details now where the bus was.He didn't replied me at all. When I called first time, he told me to statnd near one restaurent.When I have called 2nd time, He told me to stand near one ATM. solution from Ticketgoose Finally I got frustrated then I have called the ticketgoose customercare 4 times.Then only I came to know that they have cancelled the bus.They have n't informed me priorly. No one CHEATERS travels is SHAMA SARDAR TRAVELS.Please dont book the tickets in this travel.

                                  I had booked my bus ticket at Kodaikanal on[protected] for my return trip to Villupuram (travel date[protected]with Shama Sardar Travels. They had confirmed that the bus would enter Villupuram Town while booking the ticket. Now when I boarded the bus on 13-12-12 by 6.15PM the agents in Kodai say they will not enter into Villupuram Town as they don,t have permit because the bus registration number was NL-01 B0772. I had no other option as there were no other travels left for the day.

                                  The driver dropped us at National Highway bypass in Villupuram where we couldn't see one single man by 3.15AM on[protected] asking us to wait and hire an auto to Villupuram town which is six kilometere far.It was very huge harassment for me as well as my wife.

                                  Myself and my wife had a very bad experience travelling by this bus as it didn't even stop at the right place for dinner. The Motel where the bus stopped was also as bad as no women can get down.


                                  I would now request the RTO officers to pls enquire if NL-01 B0772 bus has the necessary permits to travel......

                                    A family missed the last looks their very sister and a fresher lost his job opportunity because he could not attend the final interview on time and I missed important meeting. The reason is common Shama Sardar Travels. I travelled on 11th October to hyderabad. Bus was supposed to start at 9:45 from koyambedu instead it started at 12:00 midnight because bus was not full. supposed to reach hyderabad at 8:30 in the morning, it reached at 1:30 in the afternoon. by the time everything was finished.

                                    Humple request pls pass it to as many travellers as possible

                                      Hi All,
                                      I am Anand from Chennai. Yesterday[protected] I booked a ticket Madurai to chennai on Shama sardar travels using redbus.in. In Redbus they specified as By using the Mticket(SMS/mobile ticket) to board on the bus and this operator will accept that. I received both E-Mail copy of my ticket as well as SMS ticket. I just wanted to confirm that(because some of the operators won't accept the SMS ticket, but for them in Redbus website they didn't specify that and redbus is very clear and specific on this) so I dialled to the local (madurai) sardar travels office(number specified in sms) and asked whether i need a printout to board. They specified "no need SMS will do".

                                      So I went to their office by 12:45 as the bus will start by 1:00 in the noon. and shown the SMS. Without even looking at that. They just said "GO AND GET THE PRINTOUT FROM that browsing center". The guy who said that he left the place without even hear what i am trying to say. There is a Guy sitting in the office. i said that I dialed to this number already and someone from your office told that SMS is more than enough to board the bus. that's why I didn't take the printout. Then why you have specified in the Redbus website Mticket is allowed. He replied that why can't you spend 10 or 20 rupees to take a printout. But this is not the answer i need. When he talked about money. I really got tensed and said, as I spend around 550 rupees to book the ticket. Why can't i spend 10 rupees to take a print out. that's not the point. Now the whole converstion turns into treating their customer. I have already checked about this option and they agreed upon it. and in the last min. Why i have to go around the busstand and search for a place to take printout. He started talking rude and with out respect.

                                        My name is Balaji and i am from chennai. I have booked for a tickets in AC semi sleeper multi axle volvo bus from shama sardar travel agency to travel from chennai to pune on 29.07.2012. I have booked the ticket from the website www.redbus.in and booked a seat somewhere in the middle of the bus (Seat number is G2). When i went to catch the bus they said that the bus was broke down so they have booked a seat for me in a other travel agency ( National travel agency ). As per they said the bus will go to bangalore from bangalore then they will put me in other bus from bangalore to pune. The bus (from National travel agency) the put me had all the facilities mentioned by them but the seat they have assigned to me is worst of all. The seat gave me was located in middle of last row which doesnt have push back facility nor special pad which will be extension of the seat to put your legs comfortable and whenever they apply break i will come forward because there is not seat in front of you. I have some back problems so that why i have chosen the bus with semi sleeping push back multi axle bus to travel such a long journey. When i ask the national travel agency about this they said you are customer of shama travel so we cant help you more. They dint give me the seat with no facility they have promised because of that i did not even sleep single minute and still my back is paining. I feel cheated , harassed and humiliated so i want to launch a complaint against shama sardal travels. Please help out to do so. i have the boarding pass given by the national travels in Bangalore and i also have the e-ticket booked from redbus.in. And one more thing , in the site they mentioned 21 hours as travelling time but they took 25 hours to reach pune. I have attached the snap shot of the email received from www.redbus.in which has the e-ticket attached in it.
