is the worst Service Ever, I have made numerous calls to the person([protected]) in Chennai from Bangalore. Also sent multiple mails and SMS with my account details so that they could refund my amount since it was not possible to cancel my ticket. The person has asked me to send the details but never bothered to check or transfer the amount. I am extremely frustrated. My Ticket Number PNR is sstnhva98433372.

It is extremely frustrating. I really regret choosing this travels and I would never ever want to go to a Service Provider who doesn't give importance to the customer once they get their money!.. I want to put a case against them. I have already wasted too much money and time with all the phone calls I made in this regard!...

I sincerely recommend people not to choose Shama Sardhar Travels or book tickets on their website.

A very worst travels i should say !! I have booked 700 rs. volvo from chennai to bangalore. I booked a week before the journey and they had not arranged for a ladies seat next to mine. When i fought that a guy was sitting next to my seat, they told me to get down n put me in another bus which started an hour late, around 12.15 in the night. At around 4, bus met with accident and then after an hour, tyre got punctured. Finally i managed to reach bangalore at 7.30 am. That too, the driver wont stop where we ask. Only at silk board and majestic the bus will stop. Very worst service !! Never had such a bitter experience even with SETC buses sigh !!

These fellows are absolute illiterates who know nothing about quality and Customer Service.
I had booked a ticket from Hosur to Chennai on October 13th, for a journey date off October 15th, 1:00 AM and received a confirmation message from Redbus. However at arriving at the boarding point I was informed that the booking at Shama Sardar was done for October 16th.

I had to pay an additional amount of Rs. 1350 in order to travel on October 15th, 1:00 AM, which was still my actual schedule as per Redbus booking.

Fellows at Shama Sardar are such illiterates who cant discern dates and time, especially if it is after 12:00 AM. The worst part is they wouldn't accept their fault and yet make the passengers pay for their own nasty quality of service.

Looks like this child's parents should have given him some coloring books so he did not get board on the bus. I have to say this is a well written letter from someone that is just in the fourth grade. Did your parents help you with this?

If you are an adult, i bet if you missed the bus you would be complaining that they did not wait for you.

Shama Sardar, was the worst bus service i have ever seen. Yesterday Evening i bought the ticket for 600 Rs.saying 2+1 semi seelper, but i was 2+2. In the evening i compared my ticket with co-passengers, the ticket rate was not constant, it varies from 500, 540, 570, 575, 580, 600. Same as that the departure time also 10, 10.15, 10.30, 11, 11.30. Bus started from CMBT around 12, then fuel filling. The worst part the bus came to Hosur @ 7.30am and told us shift to another bus. We were really upset and angry shouted.
I don't know how take action against this travels. I have varied rates of tickets. Surely this travels should be banned.

I agree - I had a worst experience when I travelled between Chennai and Bangalore in Shama Sardar.

1. Awfully stinking interiors (I travelled in a so called sleeper coach) with people sleeping all around the asile.
2. No respect to time. If you are lucky, the delay will be limited to 1 hour. Thats a bare minimum delay. My scheduled departure was 10 p.m. the bus started at 12 a.m but headed straight to a petrol pump to kill another 30 minutes.
3. There is nothing called a fixed charge. I paid Rs750/- for a sleeper berth from Chennai and Bangalore (I booked via redbus) but my fellow passenger paid only Rs. 600 buying the tickets at CMBT (this varied across passengers/days as well).
4. Stops whereever the driver feels like. Poor condition of the bus adds more fuel to this frusturation. When I travelled, it broke down twice on the way.
5. Finally a 7 hours jouney took almost 9 hours and I reached Bangalore at 9 a.m.

If you dislike some one, please go ahead and book them a seat/berth in this super-duper travels. There is no better punishment!

I too had a worst experience with Shama sardar travels. I was travelling from Hyderabad to chennai on 08.03.2009. Scheduled time at Nampally was 7:30 p.m. But it was 8:30 there when it got started. I booked through red bus and according to redbus pick up point is only Nampally. But actually i had a hyderabad darsan starting from NAmpally to afzal gunz, koti, dilsukh nagar, lb nagar etc etc. Ticket examiner was very strange. He took my ticket slip to verify and never returned. When i asked he said he needs to verify and he was all with red eyes at me. Finally he never returned my ticket back. One more fellow asked for his ticket back and ticket examiner was shouting at him saying that " Mai apni marji se karoonga". Finally, the ticket examiner took 30 minutes time in LB nagar to calculate the number of passengers boarded versus the amount paid/received. Finally it was his driver (who must be definitely less qualified) who helped him to tally. Then finally he said right right. then i thought ok we can go now. Then he took us to a petrol pump and there it took 30 minutes. Then finally he started on nagarjuna sagar road to chennai and near mall, bus engine got stopped suddenly on the high way and doors were also interlocked. I was panic for the two facts that any other vehicle may hit us or bus may catch fire and we cant escape. Finally, it got started and for that to start, one driver had to operate gear box and other with steering. Then, we started to go ahead and they stopped at a remote place for dinner. Then again in the middle of the night, bus got stopped and we all had to push. Internal bus body was also horrible. My seat was all hanging/ moving and i had a feeling that i may fell down.
After that some how we reached nellore and he took us to a reliance petorl outlet along the high way where canteen was also there. There again it took some time to start.
Then we were on to chennai and suddenly after naidupet/sullrupet, he took a diversion and started to go to satyavedu. we went via satyavedu and then again took the highway at gummidipoondi. There we lost 90 minutes because o[censored]nnecessary extra distance. This was done just to escape checkpost at Tada which these people do not have permit to go to chennai, I assume. First time in my life, i was on the roads of satyavedu for some time thanks to shama sardar travels. Then he again took the diversion and entered to redhills. He happily spent some time ther and he finally came back to high way. Then he did not take us to Koyambedu bustsand which he committed before and instead he left us at anna nagar. He committed to us to make us reach by 7:30 am and finally i was dropped at anna nagar at 10:30 pm. Imagine my situation where i was supposed to be in office by 9 am.

MOST DANGREOUS transport is (Shama Sardar Travels) Neelu Bus.
Last Sunday they carried 25 passenger in between the High way . Every body start sharing my seats.
Also Sleeping on ground. WORST management.

I too agree with all above coplaints about Shama Sardar Travels.First of all the drivers, conductor even the Manager of this Bus Service dont have manners about how to behave with passangers.
I have great experience when I was travelling back from Chennai to Bangalore.
There were so many travelles having Online Ticket waiting for the Bus. But Bording pass were not provided to anyone until bus came to the Station(Koyembedu). Finally when bus came all the passengers rushed inside the But, without knowing the Seat number, you can understand in a small gallary in the Bus around 40-50 people were standing.
The Conductor was shouting like anyting.
There was one person carrying family and small kids was requesting to the conductor to do the proper arrangement .The Conductor shouted on him and told first you get down from Bus then he will talk.And started saying burgeler worrd in Tamil like " Heyy...heyy etc: " He was behaving with people like that bus is carrying the people withourt charge.
If people from this travel think that they are only the Bus Service that is wrong. I will never travel in this Bus Service anywhere.

Really the bus service was too bad. I was traveled from madurai to chennai on Jan 17th 2010.
The travelers had allocated the seats 25 and 26 for four peoples. Those persons are couples. One of the couple was booked through redbus and another was booked through the travel office.
To manage the situation the driver had arranged the seats 23 and 24 to one of the couples which was already booked by another couple who were treated as too bad by the drivers, even there is no mistake in the third couple.
Without solving all those issue, the had started the bus and stopped on the way to mattuthavani around 30 mins.
The ticket charge is 700 and the bus condition is too bad even there is no glass in backside. They had covered with a cloth.

I too travelled by their bus on 01Apr2010..it was a 1145pm bus. We were made to wait till 1215am and after boarding ..the bus again stopped for diesel and didnot start till 1250am. Then when passengers started shouting the driver informed us that he was following instrustions from the office. The bus had 2 vacant seat at that point of time and they suddenly a passenger boarded the bus at 0100am.
When we confronted the supervisor of the travels who was there, he just got down and asked the driver to start the bus.

I had paid Rs.889 and no blanket or water was provided which other bus services provide. Overall it was a horrifying experience and all passengers penalised for no fault of ours.

I would definitely not recommend this bus to anybody.

Chennai -Bangalore Nightmare

Terrible is the word for this sick travels.I reached half an hour before the schedule departure into their office only to see a smoke cloud around the place.The manager with absolutely no consumer respect was answering queries partially and smoking all over.No one checked tickets and it started as if it was a free to travel bus.The So -called VOLVO started at 11:45 and went directly to a fuel station in Arumbakkam.DAMN...my eyelids were closing with a sleep just around..and when i opened i was in a state of shock.The bus was parked at the same place in Koyembedu.The ticket checker was in and was checking tickets at 12, seemed like a midnight ghost party.Finally, the bus started and its stopped nearly at some 8-10 places (Ambur, Vaniyambadi, Poonamalle) and with some really really screwd up rash driving it reached Bengalooru at 7.The interior sucks, the staffs are worse and trust me the blankets are never dry cleaned.This travels draws people for a simple reason that its has the first booking counter in the Koyembedu terminal.The only bus i could think of worse than this is the SETC non ac bus.Never in my life i would take this travels

I am amazed at he way the bus operator had put some abusive replies to the complaints above.The bus operator appears to have some political mafia or police connections.Otherwise how is his permit being renewed.Do we have governence.They feel that there are enough desperate fools, so they can behave as they like the famous Auto drivers of Chennai

I traveled on their bus yesterday from Chennai to Bangalore. I had to do a last minute booking so chose the first one that came on redbus. An old rickety bus came at their office opposite Chennai Central calling for Bangalore passengers. When I boarded the bus, I saw that it's a sleeper bus and not the 2+2 semi-sleeper as printed on the ticket. The A/C was also not working properly. When I asked the person sitting at the office, he said this one is a pick up bus which will take us to Koyambedu and we will get on to another bus. I took a seat along with 9 other passengers. After leaving Central, they went to a petrol pump and filled up the tank. At this point one of the passenger who was talking with the conductor said that there is no other bus and this indeed is the bus which will go to Bangalore. We reached Koyambedu and that confirmed it. Instead of changing bus they were boarding other people. One lady and few other passengers raised her voice and said she wanted to change her bus. They were taking money for a Volvo service and giving us this . She was asked to wait for 15 minutes. Of course, nothing happened for the next 15 minutes. We were well on our way to Bangalore. Lies and more lies. On top of that, the driver as well as the conductor were rude to that lady. The lady had to endure more from them when she asked to be shifted to some seat where A/C worked properly.

Few students who boarded from Koyambedu were promised that they will be dropped near their college. Lies again. They were dropped at some other place far away from their college despite their protests. What the driver said in response is classic, "Aap north indian, main south indian, gun leke shoot kar do". There is a basic courtesy one demands while talking to people. Those who lack that are a bunch of [censored]s.

When the students left and few seats were empty, this 'A/C Volvo Service' became what it actually is. Local Bus Service. It was unbelievable to see them calling out people for Salem, Bangalore at local bus stops and otherwise.

I am avoiding this Bus Service (?) totally.

I agree with all the above complaints as it might have happened. It so happened that these people are very ill tempered. At Koyambedu, they make you run from Shriji Complex to Shop No. 12 "N" number of times, with all you baggage and kids. They have no sense of customer/passanger relation. I am quite sure, by now, that Shama Sardar has no regular passengers. Every time they have to cash on new passangers only. A person once having travelled by Shama Sardar will never take a chance again with Shama Sardar.

There are three persons in the No. 12, Omni busstand office, who behave worse than worst with the passangers despite all their mistakes. Not even a single bus takes off at time. They cant even arrange the bus parked in the slot assigned to them.

Very Very Cheap and ill rated bus services. Never try to even travel by this Shama Sardar. It is pretty 100 times better to travel by bed-bug ridden SETC.

This travels deserves the "BEST AMONGST THE WORST" travel operator award - I'd booked 2 tickets from Chennai to Bangalore on 02 Jan 2011. The cost of the ticket was Rs.700/- each for a 2+2 NON - A/C seater. The schedule time of departure from Egmore was 10.30 PM. When I called the office @ 10.15 PM, they said I'll have to go to Central as we cannot board the bus @ Egmore.

The bus started from Egmore at 10.45 PM and reached Koyambedu - it was held there for another 30 - 45 mins. What's more humiliating was that the bus was a very old one and the whole bus was leaking thoroughly. The condition worsened when we realized that the Push Back seats were non - functional.

When we asked the bus driver about this, he says "Change the seat". Later he says that we need to talk to the office people, as he is JUST a MERE driver... Agreed...

When the same was escalated to the office person, he turned deaf and dumb ... The bus then waited till 1.00 AM at the nearby petrol pump for filling up diesel. When my co - passenger went to the driver and asked about the delay, he says "If you want to reach early, then do not come in this bus"? Nice reply ...

Finally, the bus left at 1.15 AM ... looks like the bus did not have the engine / the driver forgot the accelerator pedal... It was moving like a cart - worst - reached HOSUR by 8.30 AM (7 hours for a travel that could have taken hardly 5hrs and 30 mins) - asked to board another bus from Hosur (Looks like these guys do not have enough permits to run their "SO CALLED" buses...)

Certainly the WORST AMONGST THE WORST travels ...

Please do not even think of this - even as the lastest option - its just a waste of time and money (you get a bundle of deaf and dumb looks, and sleepless travel as a gift for the exorbitant money you pay) - instead take a Chennai --> Bangalore STC bus to reach on time...

you are very true..i too had come across similar situation with this travels, but the worry is no one is bothered to complain after their journey. this is a worst travels i have come across. they are money minded and i[censored] read their policy of booking u will get shocked. before 12 hours u will not get even a single pie i[censored] wanna cancel ure ticket...is it wat u wanted? no more mistake of booking with this travels anymore.they are asking us to read the terms and condittions before booking. please be aware of that. you will not get any money i[censored] wanna cancel ure ticket.pls sew this travels if possible please put it on the blog and block this under our great community. this is the only way we can sew this type of travels in india. kindly pass on...

Shama sardar travels is the worst travels. A co-female passenger had the worst nightmarish experience last night when me and my husband came from Blr to Chennai. We booked AC sleeper for 29th April 11pm. Around 3 am, we could hear a lady screaming. She must be around 45 yrs old and wearing a sari. The cleaner of the bus who was sleeping on the floor misbehaved with her in the mid of the night. My husband went and complained to the driver but the driver said " vidunga, this wont happen again" kind of reply in tamil. The came and said his hand went inside by mistake !!!
BEWARE ALL LADIES.. PLS DONT TRAVEL IN SHAMA TRAVELS - SLEEPER NONSLEEPR, AC OR NON AC.. We plan to lodge official com plaint against this travels.

I had travelled from Chennai to Trichy on Shamasardar travels on sleeper AC bus. Worst travels I have travelled in my life. The of Shama Sardar travels have no ethics and they are money minded.

1. Very poor customer respect. One of the employee (may be in his 40-50 yr) he is acting as if we are travelling free of cost in his bus. There is no space to stand but he is asking me to move from that place. I don’t mind to use F…word for him.

2. The scheduled departure time of the bus was 10:45PM. The bus arrived at the bus station around 11.55PM.

3. I paid 999 rs for sleeper AC but no blanket. First time in my life I am seeing that AC bus doesn’t provide Blanket. Than why the hell your charging 999 rs.

4. The bus stopped at every major intersection to look for passengers. It was more like travelling on a "town bus". Near Airport junction 10 peoples are boarded in jam packed bus.

My request to all is please try to avoid this travel, if you're travelling with your family better cancel the trip.

I two had journey two times in this travels from HYD to Chennai..I have traveled many times in different different travels.. But what i can say about this travels is... This is "Customer [censored]er Travels".. They just [censored] customers.. They are very rude with customers.. If seats are not filled they will just stop the bus on the middle and shouts for Customer.. And drivers are very rude.. Two times i have faced the same problem... They said 12 hours journey time but had taken 16 hours.. What i suggest you if you prefer bus. Please prefer other travels for safe and happy journey... i am experienced with this two times and i am gonna complaint to redbus.in also.. I just want to suggest them to remove this travels from their listings as it does not have a minimum standards that a travel bus should have..

I travelled yesterday 5th nov 2011, the worst ever experience I had, the bus is delayed by more than 1 and half hour, the online booking is for Volvo but they changed it into a different one with irrelevant seating arrangement and forced us to take the last row despite the confirmed online booking in the front, when this irregularity was asked to their so called staff, without any respect they started yelling and asked us to take either the back seat or get down from the bus. IS THIS are operating free service? or they know the spelling for respect and humanity. There after the bus started as it was also raining heavily outside we don't have the option to get down with senior members in family. Despite the bus is already late and service is totally unorganized there was 2 halts on the way for almost an hour, the second halt was with haphazard parking where in a passerby truck from behind hit the badly parked bus. After street fight between both the drivers all passengers are asked to get down and take passing busses as alternative.

Sama Sardar travels is worth less with unorganized way of working and disrespect full staffs for the customers. They may try alternative business like operating city cleaning lorries instead of passenger buses

One of the worst Travels in Chennai. I traveled on last month from Chennai to Bangalore in Volve at 11.A.M. Ticket fate is Rs 500/-. I had never seen an cockroach any private buses. There was lot of small cockroach's living in that VOLVO bus. Only one old driver only ran the bus. After crossed vaniyambadi the A/C was not running. All passengers were getting eritated and called to Chennai office. They didnt respond properly.

After crossing the Hosur, just behind the Tollgate the bus has stopped and its not started, because the 2 battaries were dead. It was unbearable. Driver simply said new battery will come from Bangalore, after that only bus can start. Co-passengers got other buses from the Tollgate to Bangalore.

So i request you all, please dont book Shama Sardar travels at any time any day any where.

Complaint Against - Shama Sardar Travels

A Poor Services, from this travel, from Chennai to Bangalore.

They charge very high price, than any other travels, ( from Bangalore to Chennai) . the quality of service is very poor.

OMG . . These guys havent changed for 3 years and I wonder how they are still in the industry. Pity the travellers . . Pity me. . . It was an official trip I travelled from chennia to Madurai day before yesterday in their sleeper bus. It was scheduled to depart at 10.15PM and it was 12.00 AM when the bus actually started from CMBT. (They were calling out the place name to fill in the epty seats). I wonder how these drivers are recruited. They drove the bus badly than the chennai auto annas. They stopped at various stations for weired reasons. finally we reached madurai at 10.30 AM. solid 12 hours for an 8 hour travel.

RESULT: We were late to the Job Fair we were suppoesed to conduct.

NET RESULT: Bambooo from BOSS.

And the worst part is, our return journey to chennai was arranged in the same bus. poor me. . . now its 10.45 PM departure bus and as per their working strategy, the so called vehicle started moving aroung 12.30 AM. It was really schocking when i saw people sleeping in the aisle just below my seat. It was worse than the Unreserved Compartment in TRAIN. We were supposed to reach egmore by 8.00 AM. We thought we would reach atleaset by 10.00AM as were were near Perungulathur by 9.15 AM. To our surprise, they announced that they would take a by-pass to reach CMBT and that would be the last stop.

I got down there and some how managed to reach home by 11 AM today.

The first thing I did after coming to work is to raise a complaint with my ADMIN team not to go for this yucky travles and second thing i decided is to never take a road travel with private buses.

This is the worst travels in Chennai. These stupid guys does not know how to behave with passengers. They are thinking that its free service. Really worst, just wanted to kick those management, workers. This company is most unprofessional. They do not have any concern about actually running a bus for which they have charged the passenger. I booked from Bangalore to Chennai 8:30am morning from Madivala. They called me and said to go to Sangita travels. Sangita travels was most unhelpful and shooed us away. After that the company went underground. They could not be contacted. They simply will not answer the phone. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY. They will cheat you.

I too had a very worst experience with this travel. I travelled from Madurai to Chennai Yesterday in this travel bus (A/C bus).

It was very bad experience

A/C was working properly for only front rows, not working for back row of seats.

Rain water came into bus as a drops, lots of passengers affected (wet) even a 3 month child too.

The WORST bus service I have ever seen! I have had bad experiences with this travels not sticking to time before. But i don't really get pissed off by 1 hr delay or so..
But this time around the travels did over-booking. When you get into the bus and search for you seat, you gonna find another passenger sitting in your seat and a second passenger claiming that it is his seat!.. that is like the same seat is given to 3 passengers!!!..

when you question here is that they say.. sorry for the mistake.. duplicate booking for the seat has happened at the office!..

such a sit service!.. i am not going to travel in a SHAMA SARDAR bus again.. never ever.. and I strongly recommend folks out there to not travel in this pathetic bus!..

This is the worst travels ever. SHAMA SARDAR VERY POOR SERVICE.. The abuse you, cheat you, fleece you and I jus do not have a word to describe their service which is truly pathetic. I will never ever travel on this bus. They are jus there to cheat and make money at any cost.

I have travelled from Shama Sardar Travels on 17th Jan from Chennai to Bangalore.
The bus was late by some 45 minutes at the pickup point.
On the way somewere near Vellore, The bus was Seized because of some issues by the highway traffic. Some people said that there was some problem with the intrestate transporation reciept. Some where saying that bus didn't had the permit to drive from Bangalore To Chennai.

The bus driver was not able to arrange any alternate transport for the passengers. They had to arrange it on their own.
After returning from the trip, I requested for the refund of the partial amount of the ticket. For that they kept giving me different numbers to contact. Finally I was advised to collect the refund from Kalasipalyam, Bangalore office.

Upon reaching there, again there was no one to take sole responsibility of refunding the sum. They were asking us to contact the chennai contact person and chennai person was asking to contact the bangalore office.Also they were not ready to pay the balance amount completely.
The response that I got from the Staff was like - "I Dont like the tone of Lucknow people.I dont like talking to them."
This guy was talking so rudely without any civic sense. This person asked me to bring the change as he didn't had exact change to give. I spend another 30 mins arranging that.

Such a horrible experience I have faced that I would advice you guys to think seriously before you decide to travel by this bus

One of the worst travels .I had booked a ticket for my dad aged 58 in bus number . NL 01 B0772 travelling from Chennai to Trichy on 10th May 2013 . He had wanted to attend his nature call and had informed the driver at 12 30. The bus driver had not shown any concerns and had stopped only at 5 o clock after fellow passengers had pressurized.Due to the above, my father had to undergo severe stomach ache, from which he is yet to recover.

on complaining about the same the next day, the egmore operator in cell no.[protected] the response was very rude, I have taken up the complaint with Mr. Ravi, the manager in cell no. [protected] and there is yet no proper response.

Kindly do not suggest the shama sardar travels to anyone going forward, especially when they are aged.

i m writing this review onboard from the bus. this is the most terrible bus journey ever. Not even worth a star. journey route is from Madurai to Chennai on 20-may-2013.
bus stopped at more than 5 places due to AC problem and it costs the journey time by 2 hours. variable ticket rates for every passenger. I was charged 750 and my co passenger was charged 550 and online booking for another passenger costs 600.

Even though the occupancy was full they boarded two persons near tindivanam toll gate and that's where the issue started. one passenger asked the bus to stop at a hotel for dinner as the bus was not stopped at any hotel apart from the AC problem at a remote area. newly boarded extra passenger did not allow the bus to stop and was using abusive languages against the passengers. worst thing is that the newly boarded passenger was with his wife and a kid. this created some issue and we had some unwanted incidents.


Extra passenger threatened other passengers that he will go to police saying some one on bus has teased his wife. this is absurd. I do not understand how a real man will do like this. its a shame to him. finally he said that he has political influence and will attack the fellow passengers


main culprit is the driver and conductor that they were supporting the extra passenger who is standing at the entrance.

Still traveling towards Chennai and will have to wait and see what happens at Chennai. I will post the updates

I have travelled from Chennai to Bangalore on 8thee June, 2013 by Shama Sardar. It was a horrible journey in my life. The driver was Psycho. On theee way theeere was a tyre puncture and when I asked theee driver how much time it will take to reach Bangalore he started abusing me. Then I told him to behave properly and he immediately tried to beat me. somehow my relative stopped him. When I tried to call theeeir office he again theereatened me to beat like anytheeing.
So be careful while travelling withee Shama Sardar. Verify theee driver name before booking theee ticket. If it is Jabbar please don't book or don't travel even you have already booked theee ticket. Jabbar will suddenly become Gabbar and may attack you anytime.
The owner is good he has apologized on behalf of theee driver.

Very bad bad bad bad experience I had while travelling in shama sardar yesterday from kodaikanal to Chennai... very worst bus in the world I think... our bus scheduled at 7:00 p.m... we reached the bus depot at 6:30 and enquired in the office they checked my ticket and told bus got break down so they cannot come to kodiakanal on time so we planned to take you 15 passengers in tavera leave u in vathalagundu... we all 15 passengers were there.. All got tensed.. were with kids(so embarrassing situation). The person in the office was irresponsible they treat passengers like something very bad like if they pay for us... and 4 guys went in bus and others went in tavera.. In between the ghat road the bus front tire got punctured.. Thank GOD the bus dint go out of control and the passenger got saved thankfully and in an half an hour they made some how and started and in an kilometre again the same tire got punctures.. No stepine any more. They don't have any link to get help in middle of the ghat road. That poor and worst fellow they are.they were asking help from pass by vehicles and all stupid fellows... all the passengers were on the road in the mid night till 1'0 clock... very bad... with hungry no food no nothing for the peoples... and by some car the other bus peoples alone went down and catches their bus...
every time this bus this kind of problem I think... pls pls pls I request u guys not to travel in this bus in urgent also... for that u can travel ordinary bus rather than using this SHAMASARDAR bus..
SHAMA SARDAR BUS CAN STOP THEIR SERVICE very bad...

I booked tickets from Bangalore to Chennai on 16- March. The departure time was 8.40 A.M. But the bus got cancelled and they didn't arrange for any other bus. I was waiting for them for 2 hours and they didn't even respond properly. This travels really sucks. I would suggest everyone
not to book tickets in this travels. Never ever opt them.

On Friday(25th April) night i have booked the ticket from bangalore to chennai in Redbus in Shada Sharma travels. When i was booking tickets, the rating column was disabled at that time for that bus alone. I dont know y. So that i dont guess the how the bus will be.. Any way i booked the ticket which was about Rs 1000. Which is very costly on that day. Even i can get in 400 rs buses also with the same futures. I thought might be this bus comfort will be more in Shada sharma. thats y booked the costliest one.. But i never had this kind of bad moment in my life when i boarding on friday. Because the bus timing was at 11.40 (PM)at madiwala (bangalore), but the bus came at 2 o clock (AM). Lots of ladies are waiting for this at untime. When enquire about to travels, That replying with irresponsible words. i am fed up at that time. I thought i would have been book some local buses. that will be more better than this shama shardar travels. Atlast bus came at 2 AM and also its not an shada sharma bus, they rented some local buses, which will actual price of Rs 400 for the bus, if we book in online. So i lost my sleep on that whole night with that bus, which was very very very worst condition.

for your information. this is not the first time. I have faced lot of issues with shada sharma travels particularly, which staffs was very rude.

Please Dont travel this kind of bus Services.

Really a worst service ever seen.

A one star would be too much for Shama Sardar bus service.
* Horrible delay of over 2.5 hours from Chennai to Bangalore.
* Rainy season, the bus leaked, and passengers near windows were wet throughout the journey.
* Delayed departure, loitering for an hour at the petrol bunk.
* Kept stopping along the way, for no good reason.
* Bus attender gave away assigned/blocked seats to others, so it's no use of selecting your seat.
* Ticket prices are varied and senseless. I paid 1200 for mine, another passenger had paid 700.

Even I agree, anyone want to experience a worst nightmare? Travel in shama sardar travels.

I had the most bad experience travelling with the travels, booked for a different bus, but sold that seat to someone else and made me wait for hours and treated me very badly especially the bus cleaner of the bus which took me from my boarding point ( Central ) to Koyambedu telling my bus is waiting there and asking me to shut up and sit till that place. Really feeling Bad and Sorry for choosing this service.

i happened to travel from chennai to sivakasi on27th august.the bus started late and there was no ventilation.the windows where shut with plywood we never where we were.it was very dark and the bus was over loaded .they allowed passengers to sleep on the floor, after trichy many students where allowed to stand and travel till madurai.it was suffocating, they started to sit in the sleeper bed of reserved passengers.it was very dark and it was like nightmare.please avoid travelling by this kind of bus.waste of money.it took 11 hours to reach sivakasi

Very Very bad travels... I booked tickets on 19th Jan 2015 A/C Bus sleeper for 1200 Rs... But not worth for even 300 Rs...
There is no A/C there is no windows at least to open also... so ask for AC they didn't even here my words and went...

This bus standards are really worst ..The conductor and the service boy did not behave properly at all they charged me RsRs1500 from Bangalore to Chennai... More over they gave me the last seat when I fought for an seat a bit forward the service boy promised I'll give later but ** Dint gimme at all ...Guys avoid travelling in this bus its waste of money ..

No courtesy, they take the highest money and provide the least possible service.


We were supposed to board a sleeper AC bus in Kodaikanal. But offered was a cramped van with the least possible legroom for the entire Ghat section- 60 KMS 2 Hours journey. Thereafter a sleeper bus with no blankets, no water and stinking interiors.

My rating was 0, don't travel in shama Sardar travels, it's not worth .i had travelled vijayawada to Chennai on 27th sept.schedule departure was 7 am but he reached 10 am.more over bus is not in condition I don't know how RTI approved this bus.so don't prefer Shama Sardar travels

Worst punctual I travelled madurai to chennai... actual time 10:45 pm 00:15 am didn't move from madurai

Worst bus service ever. Pls don't travel in this. It should be stopped immediately. My mother is travelling at present from Bangalore to Chennai. The was booked for 11.30pm and it came after one hour. There was no msg or mail about the delay. Everytime we called they said 5 mins or 3 mins more. Evening they called n asked if my mom can shift to upper berth, I said no as she is old n is having knee problem. Still they made my mom to climb up forcefully n changed her seat. The AC fan was just above my mom's head n leg. She told so many times to off it but they didn't listen. All this happened just before d journey started. I don't know how will she reach Chennai. I suggest everybody not to travel in this bus. My mistake was I didn't read others review before.
