I have register in www.shine.com for finding new job.
On 5th october 2017 at about 16:37hrs, i got a phone call from [protected] from an executive of shine.com regarding new jobs and resume writing. He told me it will charged around rs8500/-. Again he called me on 6th october 2017 at 9:13hrs and ask me to pay and send me an email where details of the services and charges were mentioned and an option of make payment was there. Accordingly, i paid the rs8773/-.

Immediately after the payment, one mr rajesh from shine.com called me from [protected] around 10:00hrs. And fixed an apointment for further processing and collection of some my career related data.

As per the schedule, he called me at about 15:21hrs. Like previous he send me an email for payment of charges of rs6099/- for profile verification. He said there no other charges. I paid the amount.

After payment, he send another email for payment of rs7800/- for some other verification. After some conversation, i paid the amount.

After payment, he send another email for payment of rs11299/- which paid.

Then he send, one email for payment of rs13449/-. At that time, i asked for what is this, your payment options are going in a non-ending process. He confirmed me this is the last payment. I paid the amount and asked for the item wise charges list. He said me there is no other charges and it is completed.

But, after some time he send me on email that, i have to pay another charge amounting to rs18270/-. When i denied to pay he told me my profile will be incomplete. But, i didnot pay.

The shine.com is misleading job seekers and twist them is such a manner that, they will bound to pay the unauthorized charges. Such i have paid rs47420/-. They are not providing the clear list of their charges. So that, one can decide whether avail the service or not.

The details of the mail and the confirmation letter are enclosed here with for reference.

I request, to take necessary steps for refund of the my money as i cannot afford more their charges and i don't want the service any more.

There was calls from Shine.com customer support. They simply denied to refund the money. Rather they agree to put the services on hold.

    I've gone through a job opening ad on shine.com...
    Company name: somya info edge services private limited hiring for easy get pvt. Ltd
    There was the phone no. Of the recruiter, the no. Is [protected], i dialed the no. But the person who received the call who just denied the fact about giving job opening ad on shine.com... He was totally clueless about that again the person is still constantly harassing me from several phone no. And disturb me lot... Such fraud job portal site and their fraud recruiter and phone no.

      Respected sir,
      My name is himanshu gupta i received a call from mobile no. [protected], on 26 sep 2017 from shine.com, regarding the vacancy in tata motors at delhi locations for this they demand 2000 rs registration charge and i payed it. But after 2 day on 29 sep they demand for 3800 rs for document verification they said that it is refundable after interview, if not paid my 2000 rs going to waste and on 3 oct. They demand 6800 rs for company verification no.
      And it is refundable after interview if i am not paid this, my all money going to waste. And on 4 oct they demand me to paid 14000 rs for company card no. If am not paid this they do not refund my money they promise me and they dispatch all the document regarding the job but today (6 oct) they demand 16000 rs if am not given this they warning me that they do not my refund my money my job profile will be cancel. And the a/ c are given below in which i deposit money

      i receive a call from the mobile no. [protected] (representative of shine.com) he was asking me 18% of whole amount as G.S.T but when i ask him about the receipt. he totally refuse to give me the receipt. and he demand me the in advance 18% of whole amount as G.S.T.

        I am from kakinada, andhra pradesh. I have received a call in morning from your company that they are going to offer me a job in larsen and toubro ltd. They asked me to send my details i. E any one of the semester certificate, passport size photo and any identity proof. Also they asked me to pay amount of 2300/- in sake of some training programme and i had done it. Then they provided me a mail "[protected]@india.com" and i have sent the required documents to that mail. They again contacted me and asked for one more transaction of 4500/- for communicating with relations manager ms. Deepti from larsen and toubro company and i have paid it. Again after contacting her she asked me whether i want a direct or indirect recruitment and i preferred for direct recruitment. Then she asked me to pay amount of 11500/- for sake of job and this paid amount would be forwarded to larsen and toubro company but now i have doubted about this job offer because of this step by step payment instalment process... Then i have enquired in official website of larsen and toubro company and in that it was mentioned that there will be no charge of single rupee in any stage of their recruitment, my point is that as it is mentioned in their website how could she say that the amount would be payable to that company. Then i called them back and i asked that i don't want any job offer from you and i want my money refund. They said that they can refund my money only if the minimum amount is 10000/- so that if you want complete refund of your money you should transfer 3200/- more to our account then only we can refund your money completely and if not we can't refund because it's our company rule. What kind of rule was that because it is not mentioned in your website previously that any kind of payment is needed or that there will be some transactions based on the company or anything else in the procedure of getting a job. So i need my money back as soon as possible without any additional payment from me.

          Gaurav singh from ht media have given me a yearly package with bulk 10000. And 200 job posting. Bulk mailing was hardly used and now not working from last two weeks. Till the time our last installment was pending for amount 17500, he was answering calls. As soon as it cleared he have stop taking calls from my number or our office. The same problem happened in last year subscription with gaurav singh. He sells and than do not bother whether its working or not. Its been three months and shine data is not been used. We have already paid and it will expire one one year is completed. What about the three months you have wasted?

              I would like to inform you that i enrolled for pmp training after consulted to shine and i informed them that i am having bca degree with 4 years’ experience as a help desk coordinator and they confirmed to me that i am eligible for this training & can be enrolled for pmp training but now got to know while i am preparing for pmp exam that i am not eligible for pmi registration because didn’t have experience in project management & they count me as a fresher with 2 years’ experience.


              If it is not as such then provide the guidance for pmp exam and if so then why your team didn’t provide proper consultation and information about pmp training during the consultation?

              I have sent many mails to them but did not get the solution & the registration fee.

              I want my precious money back.

                This is a complaint regarding mr. Jatinder of shine.com
                Date:[protected]

                I was told about a course regarding v-skills.
                The corse was v-skills course of hr for managers.
                Told to pay rs-4200 and will get study material, online portal to study online content and certificate. Once the payment was made, the person refused to deliver the content and asked to pay another 17000rs in order to receive the services. When told that money is too high and don't want any additional services, the person threatened that even rs.4200 will get wasted and he will not return any money nor activate the services. I feel cheated and trapped now. Don't know how shine.com can let their employees do these kind of frauds.

                  It is brought to the notice that i had paid a total amount of rs 20, 196/- as part of registration process for job placement as per the telephonic conversation with following personnels of shine.com :-

                  (A) mr piyush.
                  (B) mr gaurav.
                  (C) mr nishant.

                  From the right beginning after this payment, i requested to stop the service when i was again asked to pay rs 31, 000/- by mr nishant for sarabjeet coaching. Accordingly i refused to pay the said amount and requested to refund my money which i had paid ie rs 20, 196/-. It is to mention that after a lapse of more than one month, neither satisfactory service has been provided to me from the shine.com as agreed prior to payment nor any referral for getting a job. It is prudent to state that there is some foul play involved. Rs 20, 196/- which i had paid is a hard earned money. Hence kindly refund the money.

                    These people are cheating with the names of company . They will ask for registration amount 2500 and give a false news about selection in any of the company and later on they will ask for more money, i[censored] are unable to pay that then later on they will deny your call

                        I got a call yesterday impersonating as a person from shine.com asking me to submit documents for ibm job as a fresher. I heard in the background another female saying "i am calling from naukri.com". It hit me once that how come people from naukri.com and shine.com sit side by side, but still i gave the details. Today i get a call from them but it was a different female saying i was selected and i had to pay 2500/- via paytm and screenshot...

Then i have received one person's mobile and he gate 3000 to 5000 for registration, i am agree with us, then he persons continues call to me after every 15 days and demand more amount in different purpose.                         I spend 45000 rs.in shine career plus for getting job. Mr. Abhishek, pinky mahur and vicky srivastava these all are fraud employee of shine. They are taken payment from me but there are 3 months over to i make payment but they are not able to provide services. Pls refund my money back. I have all payments receipt.                           Hi i have receive a call from shine career plus that they are going to provide services they have asked that today is a dussehra and payment has been reduced to 3200 rs and i have made payment

                          And after that i have asked to make another 5200 rs and i am getting continuous calls and even they are threatening her name is pooja.

                          I dont know why shine.com is encouraging such transactions and why they are not taking care

                              I have received a call from [protected] (Amit paswan), [protected] (Gaurav gupta), [protected] (Gopal sharma) saying that they are from shine and will be assisting me in getting a job. They were saying rs.3099 - 309 with discount rs.2790 on telephone call as the first service charge for job referrals. Then asking for rs.6199 for profile assessment & my job thought report on email with line as discussed i. E, without discussing the charges part on telephone.

                              The charge details they were not sharing me in prior on telephone call or by email. Then asking for rs.[protected] with discount rs.10735 for education & job profile verification. On every call they said that this is the final amount and they wont be charging more for doing the service and on email they were asking for charges and which is not acceptable.

                              When i said this is not acceptable, the person who called me multiple times till they get the money, disconnected the call.

                              Today 29th Sep 2017, I have received a call from [protected] (Gopal Sharma) saying that they are from shine.com and will be assisting me in getting a job. They were saying Rs.12898 on telephone call as the final service charge for Job Interview Prepration. He said that this is the final amount and they wont be charging more for doing the service and on email they were asking for charges and which is not acceptable. I can't pay this ammount.

Sir tab mene Rs.12, 989 paid kiye the kafi request k baad total Rs.19, 724 paid ho gaye. iske baad bhi kisi gopal sharma ka call aaya tha final payment k liye mene previous mail mein mention kara hai us service ka mene payment nahi kara Rs.12898. Please team Rs.19, 724 mere refund karwa do. mene full bank details previous mail me mention kari hai. mein kafi poor family se hoon.

                                Hello,
                                I got a call from your side by mitali mam for vodafone job.
                                I got interested and said yes she told i just have to pay 1300/- which would be refunded in first salary and have to fill form attend the interview and joining
                                But after the interview have told to pay 8300/- as training amount.
                                Then 9330/- for security deposit of laptop and mobile phone.
                                Now 7300/- for document verification. I have paid total 18930/- still asking more. When i refused the person contacting me rajen became rude when i asked for refund as i can't trust any more.
                                So kindly see to my request to refund my money as for us it's a big amount.

                                  Am getting frequent emails and calls for job interviews stating they got my profile from shine.com. I don't remember signing up for this website. I requested them to remove my account for which they replied as they cant and asked me to change my account settings but that link redirects me to upload resume. Please help me on this. Its too annoying to open and keep deleting these emails and also recieving the calls. Also it keeps disturbing my study timetable.

                                    Hi team,

                                    I have got call from shine.com that we provide service to get interview calls through our references and was asked to pay 5000rs. When i showed the interest and said cannot pay this much the price was reduced to 3100 rs after multiple round of discussion. And was given very high promising aspects of service that within 24 hours we will activate account.. You will receive 3 references everyday 3 hour calls of interviews. Tilll i have made the payment got 7 calls in 3 hours to make payment thsi is special service as pe manager approval only for you. And after the payment is done... Thats when the real picture of service starts. 3 days regular follow-up i had to do to know the status... And everyday i am told 1 more day to go.. Finally, when i lost the temper and said i do not need service i am told we did welcome call for your account and i did not received and when checked it was found that the missed call with one ring was done from the department. I called them again to complaint and i was asked to pay 5000 rs as they will be negotiating with recruiters for hiring. I got the sense it is suspicious and sales trick. I immediately went online and checked customer reviews and thereafter called them stating i do not need any service and need the complete refund back. From there on i have been run around like a fool. On call i am advice to send email when i send email i am informed the respective department will call back. And then i receive call from same sales devision and they will say nothing will be done. Again i am asked to send email and same repeats again and again from last 4 weeks i am sending email getting calls nothing will be done and asked to send email again.

                                    i have again received a call today. And same story was told we will look into the matter and was asked to send another email to some other person from shine.com. And when i told that all these days i have been only sending you emails and i will forward the same to you. Surprisingly the response is we need another email explaining what is the issue and then we will check and get back... Surprise !! Surprise !! Customers are asked to send emails.. and emails one after another and over a month now no action is taken. I seriously do not trust any of the services from them..
