[Resolved] Shine.com — Job recruitment fraud/scam, implied threat of identity theft.
I received a call from an individual claiming to work for shine.com, informing me that my resume was shortlisted for an MNC and I had to pay 2000 rupees as a finder's fee after which he would forward me details of the job offer. The person admitted on a recorded phone call that he works for shine.com, as such I believe even if he is a fraud shine.com is morally and legally responsible for the frauds and scam perpetuated by him and his cohorts, and has to pursue strict legal action against the fraud or I will hold them responsible and pursue legal recourse myself, the phone call I received was from +[protected], and the MNC he mentioned was RC Mechanical. Please take appropriate actions I will monitor for a response . Was this information helpful?
