[Resolved] Shine.com — fake jd shortlist call
A person called me claiming that he is from shine.com. He said that I have been shortlisted in for a job, etc.; and wanted me to deposit INR 1600 for confirmation. The concern is: 1. Why would Shine.com "call" me asking for money for booking without even approaching through a mail from their side in the first place? 2. Even if Shine.com didn't call and the call was a fake, how did my number which I have shared with Shine.com reach to the fakers? Was this information helpful?
