[Resolved] Shine.com — fraud call career scribe shine | |
Last month i got a call from career scribe telling that they are calling from shine and told that 2 mncs companies have matched my profile and i need to pay 2700 for processing my cv further for this opportunity which was refundable after i complete my first round of interview which was telephonic. I agreed and paid the same. But then they asked for several documents along with profile verification and took 6500 for profile verification telling it will be also refundable. Next day i got a mail from a guy named vikas telling my interview got scheduled and for that, i need to provide few documents along with e-profile. And again they took 10, 000 for e-profile by assuring it will also be refundable once i complete the process. That day vikas took my interview and it was completely hr based no technical question was there. Then he mailed me telling that now you have cleared the first telephonic interview but you have to give a second telephonic interview now. Again asked for few documents and they took 5000 telling the same thing that it will be refundable. After the whole telephonic process when i tried to contact them they never picked up my phone. A few days back i again got a call from an unknown number saying that he is calling from rbi and he wants to make the refund of the amount that i paid to career scribe. Then he told me but for the process, i need to pay 30% of the total amount to them. I got tricked by them and hence i want them to get proper punishment so that they cannot trick anyone one else. I already lodged a complaint against them in the local police station. I request shine to take proper action and expose them through advertisement or any other medium. Even same happened with me. I am still in contact with them as because my telephonic round has not been completed yet. Please suggest me what should do? Should I go to police station? Let me know whether you get the refund or not.
