Cheap quality shoes with no durability at all. I purchased a pair of walking shoes and within 3 months and few days, the shoes started developing holes in the upper part of the shoes. I raised the issue (Ticket No. 264062) to the customer care but all Ms. Anita Tevar from customer care had to say is that the claim is rejected by quality assurance team. The same reply was given again and again.
I talked to the customer care on phone as well and Mr. Sandeep from customer care informed that their team checked the product again and again and decided that it’s not a manufacturing defect. I feel customer care department being run by bots and did not even bother to have a look at the issue. It is clearly visible that it’s an issue of cheap quality of material being used in manufacturing the product. The entire product designing is wrong. And he told me that is has happened with wear and tear. So now they are saying I will have to protect the shoes instead of the shoe protecting my foot. An innovative approach by Schechter’s I must say. So Sketchers please also let me the standard operating procedure to use the shoes for a morning and evening walk.
Sketchers people please note these are walking shoes and if they cannot survive a 20 minutes’ walk 2-3 times a week in 3 months and few days, then is this even worth to design such a product ?
Are we buying the shoes for durability this short?
What is Sketchers ownership to such products being sold? Are there any quality checks at all before launching the shoe and sending them in retail market?
What the point in buying Sketchers then if they this cheap quality being used in making the shoes.
Pathetic quality and worst customer care experience ever faced.
