Sony India — Complaint regarding delay in TV repair | |
I had made a complaint with regards to my Sony Bravia HD LCD Tv KlV 32R422B IN5 on 13/8/2020 as it suddenly stopped working, I kept wanting for service engineer to visit for checking out problem but no one came for 5 days on my constant complaining on the phone of the sector 34 Chandigarh service centre, the service centre person came on 7th day and after checking the TV said that some IC of mother board has short circuited and he will check the availability of part and place order and then let us know, but we didn’t hear from him for 2 days, when we called the service centre they said part is available but as our TV out of warranty we will have to pay Advance of Rs 3100/- for the same, some person from service centre visited me And gave estimate Sheet and took the money in cash without any receipt on 21/8/2020 saying there is no official receipt of advance, has been 5 days now and they keep saying pat has not arrived from Delhi and it might take one more week for part to come from Delhi, they have charged me Rs 600/- as transportation charges of the part but are not couriering the part from Delhi urgently and are saying it will come in routine, it has been 15 days and I have no idea about when my Tv will be repaired Kindly look int the matter and expedite the same Regards Preeti Ahluwalia Job no.
