I was trying to book a flight ticket for two people from GAU to IXS on the SpiceJet Website on 5th Jul 2022. I entered all the flight and passenger details. Then, I entered my card details and made the payment of Rs 10, 062 using my debit card. The amount was deducted from my bank account but after the webpage reloaded, it was in the flight search page and I did not get any ticket nor any booking confirmation through email or SMS.
I was confused and worried but since I absolutely had to travel, I went ahead and tried to book the ticket again. I made a payment of Rs 10, 062 again and this time it was successful. Important to note that in the second try that was successful, I chose the same seats as the previous unsuccessful try which proves that the previous try was not successful.
I emailed this to SpiceJet. The case number was 10044949a1. As a reply, they sent me a link that had a form to provide additional information about the payment. I filled and submited it. After some days I called their customer support and they promised me that the refund will be done within 48 hours but it is not done as of writing this. Was this information helpful? |
