To give you some background, I have booked a flight from Mangalore to Mumbai scheduled departure on 30th May 2019 - SpiceJet. There were two PNR created a) PNR - NY7S7J with 3 passengers(Nikesh Shetty- Physically challenged, Sharda Shetty - Cancer Patient & Reshma Shetty (Wife of Nikesh Shetty)) . b) PNR - ZI4C2R for passenger Vilas Shetty. We made payment on 26th May 2019 through Paytm wallet for both PNR's while the payment for both PNR's went successfully at our end but as per SPICE JET rep the payment for PNR - NY7S7J amounting to Rs 23985/- was shown in process mode (Paytm Order ID[protected]. I have a screenshot of SPICEJET Payment link screen which shows Amount received through paytm. But the customer executive said its in process, we need to wait for 24 hours. Post 24 hours when I contacted they said it is declined, and will receive the amount in 8-10 days . And I have to re-book tickets
For a person who earns very less salary per month, to block this amount is big thing.
As I am in dire need to get my family here before 02nd June 2019as my brother is undergoing treatment on 02nd June 2019, so yesterday I again did the booking for 3 passengers in same flight for same date.But this time the ticket rate was increased by 11000/- . For no fault of mine, I was ready to pay 11000/- extra and has still not received the refund from your end.
This time I made the booking(PNR- VHHQ7E) and paid the amount through UPI . Payment was made successful (UPI ID[protected]. However again the same story that the payment is in process (While I have bank statement, UPI statement which shows payment is made successfully) . As per your Customer care executive, again I need to wait for 24 hours for status to change and then rebook with Exorbitant fare.
When called at your customer care on 27th May 2019, the rep is not ready to raise the compliant. And she is again asking me to repay for ticket through IVR and wait for 8-10 days for refund. Why should I wait and pay extra for Spicejet negligence, when my bank, paytm and upi is claiming the amount is successfully transferred to Spicejet.
I had raised a complaint even on 26th May 2019 through customer care but as per their representative with whom I spoke yesterday there is no complaint reflected in system.
I again gauged some guts to rebook the tickets but this time I preferred booking through Ticket Booking sites rather than calling spicejet customer care to book the ticket .All my above three bookings - PNR - NY7S7J, PNR - ZI4C2R & PNR - VHHQ7E were done through spice jet customer care . I could have done past bookings online but as I wanted to raise a request for wheel chair and an assistant for my physically challenged brother, I have do call customer care for ticket booking (as online site doesn't show that provision). I booked ticket for 4 passenger again with spicejet (PNR- YDJ14Q) but for 31st May 2019(as fare was less compared to 30th May 2019 fare) . I chose Spicejet only because of the fare compared to other carrier. My payment was done successfully through UPI on Clear trip. Now I have to cancel the ticket for Vilas Shetty booked for 30th May 2019 (PNR-ZI4C2R) and for same I was charged for 3000rs. Again I am in loss because of your faulty system.
I had asked a simple mail from SPICEJET acknowledging that if you haven't received the payment, then send me an email stating the same, as Paytm is ready to reinitiate the payment in case you have not received the payment. But I dont know what stops the team from doing so
When you say- your fare is dynamic so is your customer's money.
There is SLA and TAT for payment then why there is no TAT or long TAT for refund.
On top of that Spicejet is slamming me with high fare as the time is passing
