We were 5 passengers with one passenger pregnant 6 months (Myself) 2 passengers kids aged 6 & 4, my husband and my mom around 62. Please note first they had issues around seats and allocation where they took 40 minutes to sort out, secondly they allocated infants alone in behind rows then changed it, later after 45 minutes they sorted it out and issued boarding passes for all at 23.55pm. Flight is at 23.55, after issuing my mom;s boarding pass they ask if all are residents, i very deligently advised i have one passenger on visit and i issued the electronic visa. After 15 minutes they say sorry no ok to board she cannot board the flight, i was like i take assurance will provide a letter dont do this, how will she travel back alone, secondly had this been told as soon as i reached i could have arranged for the ok to board immediately through my agent in the airport in dubai. 23.30 they advise me the counter is closed we cannot do any thing and her ticket is cancelled. So i have lost te ticket money, neither they have advised to move the dates and also forced me to pay for spice max for all 5 passengers without doing all the prior checks and cancel the ticket for my mom after issuing a boarding and pass and check in all her luggage as well. Midnight where does the airlines expect my mom to go?? Is this the service provided?? Are you guys professional enough to handle international flights customer service?? My mom is left back arranges for herself to get back around 50 km away (My home from the airport alone) god forbid anything had happended to her!!! We 4 passengers board the flight we are 3 rows down and when asked for a non veg meal as i paid for % passengers spice max!!! I am told that non veg meal is over!!! I am like really did you even have non veg meal on your flight as you only served 5 passengers before my seat!! Such a poor service!!
I would not recommend any one on spicjet as i have lost out on so much of money. I need the refund of one ticket which is of no fault from my end and expect a speedy response for unprofessional behaviour of the customer service staff. Was this information helpful? |
