[Resolved] SpiceJet — Agonised due to flight delay in the last minute | |||
Hi, I boarded the flight SG524 yesterday from Bangalore to Kolkata, The flight was supposed start at 6PM but it was announced earlier that it will be delayed by 15 mins and start at 6.15pm. This happened at 5pm. And then suddently at 5.45 PM it was announced that the flight is further delayed by 90 mins and will start at 7.30 PM. After having said this the flight still didnt leave the airport untill 8.00pm. Which is a total delay of 2 hours and there was absolutely no prior announcement of the same. I had a train to catch at 11.40 pm in Kolkata and I missed the train due to your flights delay. I faced a very tough time here in Kolkata as I had to spend the entire night in the waiting room while it was heavily raining outside. I also am not getting a refund for the tickets as the railway TDR rules have changed and in spite of that I now need to make a break journey to my final destination. I dont think just by giving a 500rs voucher would do anything to recover from the harm that you have done. I dont intend to fly with Spice Jet again and hence the voucher is of no use to me. I want a full refund of the air tickets I booked with you. I hope you can do that at the least for the damage you have done. The amount that I am claiming is much less than the damage you have done.
