SRL Diagnostics — URGENT: Inaccurate Reporting

Dear Team,

This is to inform about a recent test I got from SRL which caused a life threatening instance for me.

I had my Lipid profile tested on April 15th 2023 and got a result which made me worry about my life and health.

I am a 27 year old man who got his Total Cholesterol as 271 and Triglycerides as 1076 when tested from your diagnostic.

This high triglycerides made me feel short of breath and a serious anxiety issue. I called the Blood sample team to confirm if the test is accurate and they assured that it’s accurate which caused further anxiety and depression within me.

It was the next day when I decided to get retested from another diagnostic which made me completely shocked as there my report was completely normal with Total cholesterol as 207 and triglycerides as 122. I was clueless and wasn’t able to draw a conclusion about which report to rely on.

I had sent my latest report to SRL team and they told that they will get my sample retested however no action was taken in reality by them.

I consulted to a doctor who asked me to get a third test done to be absolutely sure of my health status which made me feel relieved as this time also my cholesterol was 186 and triglycerides were 99.

This entire incidence was caused by the inaccurate testing from SRL Diagnostic which resulted in sleepless nights, anxiety and mild depression within me alongside the money that I spent i.e. Rs 2500 approx.

I would urge for the complete refund of the amount which I spent on multiple testing and doctor consultation and an apology as well else I will have to file a complaint on a escalated level and the consumer forum.
