SRS Travels — Harassment of a female passenger

On Wednesday evening[protected] we were supposed to board a bus from marathalli to manipal.The bus was at 9:00 pm.We reached there by 9:07pm and the bus had already left.The person seating at the desk named Sriram (I think, he didn't tell me his correct name)told me that he changed my booking to gandhinagar, and that the bus left while also stating that he tried to call me thrice but no one picked up the call.I checked the number, it was incorrect. He never called me, but someone else. I tried to tell him this fact but he refused to acknowledge it.I asked him for driver's phone number, he didn't give. I asked him how I was supposed to go, he didn't assist at all.At that moment my friend and fellow passenger came and said that it was useless to discuss the issue with him as the bus has already left. This Sriram guy understood something from the above sentence that my fellow passenger and friend told me and unexpectedly started to shout at both o[censored]s on top of his voice saying"DONT CALL ME USELESS".He then got up from his chair with a clear intend to hit my friend while still continuously shouting at the top of his voice "Don't CALL ME USELESS".That guys(Sriram) helper then quickly came in the middle to stop Sriram before he could hit me .My fellow passenger just smiled at him and walked out without causing any further commotionor saying even a word to him while he was standing just one feet away from my fellow passenger and friend, ready to hit him.Somehow I found some transport to get me to gandhinagar.While enroute I got an email that directed me to a helpline number specifically for "safety of women during travel".I called that number to report this incident but the person at the other end of the phone not only ignored to listen to my case and help me out but even hung up the phone!.So essentially I had no help whatsoever from the SRS Travels and I was left stranded at night, not to mention after being harrassed by the Sriram who even threatened to hit my friend.I did not file an FIR against him that day as we had a pressing commitment in Manipal the next day.But as soon as I reach back to Bangalore I will file and FIR and make sure that he as well as SRS travels pay the consequences of that day.
