Standard Chartered Bank — added additional charges on bill | |||
Hello, I am having Standard Chartered Bank credit card from August 2018. The card limit is Rs. 21000. I was not satisfied with the limit so I didn't activate and didn't make a single transaction from the card. some days later customer care of the bank called me to feedback, I told them that I am not satisfied with this limit and I want to close this. After 4-5 months later when I was checking my email I got the Standard Chartered bank card bill and It was Rs. 4700, then I have checked all the bills form the beginning. then I realized that my first bill was Rs.750 as an annual fees. and its increased Month by Month. so I called the customer care to block the card asap. In the meantime from the feedback call they didn't call / message or any physical bill sent me to reminder to pay So I could aware about the bill payment. They should inform me via call or message for payment. In this situation bank added a negative review on CIBIL. Now my CIBIL score is very poor because of this. So I request you to waive off or make a settlement of my pending bill and please correct the negative review because I asked them to close the card already. Thank you!
