Standard Chartered Bank — Penalty for not maintaining minimum balance

I had opened the bank account in the year 2011 and it was salary account. I was not actively using the said bank account regularly. Till, 2020, there was no deduction or penalty for not maintaining minimum balance. In the year 2021, i got deposited some amount from which bank has deducted almost Rs.4, 000/- as penalty. I have not intimated nor my written consent was taken for conversion of account.
Request bank to refund the deducted amount as penalty.
