This complaint is regarding the CUSTOMER service of Standard Chartered .

I am not able to use my CREDit card and online banking, Calling the bank CUSTOMER service for more than 15 days, they are just giving some common solution and disconnecting the call.

Spoken more than 30 minutes on call and last he said he will lodge an escalation email to the department and also given me an escalation email id which is wrong.

Today replied on my email again wrong solution.

My query is I am not able to use CREDit card and not able to login to my online banking, Now, today in email he is saying the steps how to block my card through net banking. This is ###.

They don't even read an email properly

I request everyone here to resolve my issue at the earliest.

    I have an account with Standard Chartered Bank. I had walked in to SCB for ECS cancellation on my account and I was advised to just fill one form to cancel ECS and I did, I was informed that ECS will be cancelled and not to worry but later again I had ECS charges on my account. When I called SCB, they told that they can't cancel ECS as ECS Debits can be on multiple dates in a month and they said I was supposed to fill multiple forms for those specific dates hence there was debits. Am I the bank rep to know the process or Is it the bank representative's responsibility to let me know what has to be done to stop ECS charges ony account? Received call from bank manager of SCB Sadashivnagar but I doubt he was a manager, based on the way of his communication skils. I had sent an email to all the teams possible in SCB like priority head and grivience team in November 2022 but still I haven't received a proper response yet. Is this kind of service they provide to their customers. Worst experience I have ever had with banking

      Please note i am your savings bank account holder and credit card, holder

      i had gold rewards credit card
      about 2 months ago i called the customer care number to know my card details. The customer service agent informed me that i am eligible for card upgradation from gold rewards to manhattan card, she explained to me the benefits and informed after the upgradation i will be charged with joining fee and against that i will receive 5000 rewards points. I have not been charged a joining fee and nor have the points been credited

      after i raised a complaint about phone banking they arranged a callback from the concerned team. Yesterday 9th november 2022 timing 7.08 pm i received a call from this number [protected] (call recording attached) a lady representative informed me that i am not eligible for it as my card comes under the staff account, i told her that i was working with scope international chennai from june 2007 till august 2010 and i left the organisation. She said read the terms & conditions, but she was not at all willing to understand the and disconnected the call.

      Please note in your system if they have not changed my credit card from staff to normal customer then it is not my problem, completely your mistake

      i need compensation for giving false information now you need to give a solution to it, and if you can not let me know your nodal officer email id, i will escalate there and later i need to register a complaint with rbi for harassing the customer without his mistake

      without any further delay kindly take appropriate action against the relevant representative both customer care who upgraded my card and the person who called me to inform me that points can not be given due to the staff account.

      You can call me anytime @[protected] if you feel so
      for the mental torture and fake promises
      i need 5 lakhh rewards points customer and apology letter for the mistake and delay in the process

        Namaste to all standard charted Seniors,

        I am valuable customers of standard charted credit card more then 6 years .I have never face so much issue and you had a good customer support .So i was using my credit card without any hesitation.(For your reference i want to come to your notice that i have other credit card from different service provider)

        In my whole journey till date i have never defaulter from any credit card or other loan provider .Since always pay my card payment on or before timeline and used to do full payment.(you can check my civil score and card payment history to you or any other bank too)

        This time i am really very disappointed with standard charted card .In aug 1st i really paid payment to your card to close my both loan account (BT AND LOAN ) .So paid payment after 1st aug i am going around with your customer support team and your sr. supervisor .

        My intension to firstly clear the things with your customer support and after when they are not capable enough to understand and solve my problem .(as your side extra amount chrged to my card)

        inspite of from your bank side 2-3 time your supervisor sitting in call centre accepted the same and Assured me resolve the issue and adjusted the wrong amount charged by your bank.

        Finally hours of call and so many mails there would have no resolve from your side.(STANDARD CHARTED)

        i also requested for recording from your side, where your sr. customer care aggreging and told to me about wrongly charged amount on my card.

        I herby declared that Today i paid genuine amount which was liable to me on my card (card no - [protected], I paid rs. 4861/ dated 06 /10/22, as i always do the payment Tilmily)

        I am writing here that after this payment my standard charted card balance outstanding amount is nil from my side. And there is no liablilty from my side to pay any extra amount.

        As your old and valuable cusomer i want to continue your credit card in future also.BUt kindly adjust the wrong charged amount from my standrd charted card on immediate basis.

        i did the all effort from my side in last 2 month to follow your team via call and mail.

        imp- I am also attaching all mail and trail mail attachment here.(mail wise ) and reffrence no which i have.

        Looking for a finally revert and solution from your side .Since i am a simple working man and dont have time to long follow you now .I have to feed my family to working in pvt target job.

            Dear sir, today I have received 10 (TEN) spam mails from Stanfdard Chartered Bank through [protected]@connectinboxx.com. My repeated complaints to them have not yielded any reply, To avoid filters the spammer is repeatedly chnaging the title/ heading/ Id ie Standard, SCB, SC CC. Hence they are Spammers Bank.

                HI Team,

                After multiple requests trough mails, internet banking etc channels requested for cancelling the credit cards under my account to the SCB they are not cancelling. And also they are creating new credit cards and sending which I did not request in any channel. because of additional credit cards and I am paying additional annual charges (I am not using them).

                Whenever sending mails they are asking to reconsider which I really don't want. after that also I sent a mail like cancel but not cancelling and again I need to pay for additional charges.

                All I wanted is to cancel all credit cards under my account .

                This kind of behavior giving me mental pressure and additional bill payments.

                      The bank on the date of 4 November 2022 deducted Rs. 2999.84 towards [protected] under the guise of TRFD transfer. Such deductions were neither part of the terms and agreement nor I was informed to seek my consent before any such deductions. There has been no clarification or outreach from the bank regarding the said incident. This is affecting me both psychologically and financially and hence I seek redressal for this grievance along with re-deposit of the said amount towards my credit card and clarification/assurance for the same.

                        This is Dilip Kumar Ghogre my credit card was closed ([protected]). I want to change my mobile number from[protected] to [protected] (now my old number is not using by me) I have to raise some issues related my NOC which was provided by SC in that date is WRONG mentioned because of this my loan application is not completing with other national bank.
                        Also My TPin number is blocked so IVR not allow me to get through with the executive.

                        Fir request I am mailing it through my registered email id.

                          I made credit card transaction on 31st Aug[protected].00, for this scb executive continues called for EMI convesion, but i refuse there offers detais and clearly said will not go for emi .will pay the full amount. Buy the trasaction converted to emi without my knowledge, still now iam not recevie abount this emi convertion details from scb. how banks will convert without my concent. i apporched from 20th Sep 2022 onwords to phone/emi customercare, there has also very very disappointment of there service and responds. continues followup they mailed on on 5th OCT2022 to cancel the emi and will reflect in 2-3 days once update asked to pay the amount . But still now not resolve this issue and Just postponding 2-3-4 days time on every connect/mail.

                            Complaint raised to Bank customer care with tracking reference KMM39809561V97279L0KM to revert the annual fees as i have asked the Standard Chartered Credit card team to close my Credit card. The Bank accept the request and sent confirmation that I don't need to pay annual fee for the Credit card, however I am still getting the Credit card bill to pay annual fee including fine charge of rupees 1518.07. Now i am unable to avail loan from other Banks due to this Credit Card and calmness action from the Customer care team.

                                This is inform you that I had received Credit Card Statement dated 24/08/2022. Mentioning Late Fee, Interest & Other Charges as Rs.4878. I have forgot to pay the

                                credit card payment on 15/08/2022. However, I have paid the amount on 18/08/2022. ie a delay of 3 days. Sorry to inform you that on my next month statement, I was

                                charged Rs.4878 for default of payment of Rs.51464, which is about 10% of the bill Amount. I had already requested your customer care for waiver of Interest, Penalty

                                and other charges on 26/08/2022. You had acknowledged my mail Ref. 08/22/10418 (KMM40417989V94439L0KM) dated 26/08/22 and to respond after 2 working days. Sorry to

                                inform you that you had not responded. After 2 weeks I had sent reminder mail on 06/09/22. You responded on 06/09/22 that it will take another 4 working days to

                                provide resolution of my query. After 4 working days, I had sent another reminder on on 12/09/22. No response from your end. You are avoiding and forcing me to pay my

                                bill on 15/09/22. How can you charge about 10% for a Bill Amount of Rs.51464/- for late payment of 3 days. Please let me know the break-up per day and the procedure

                                for such abnormal penalty. I once again request for a waiver.

                                  Hi I am Vimalraj S, Standard Chartered Bank offered me a credit card with an offer of no credit card charges/ annual fee for first one year. however, they had charged me with a fee of Rs 500/- as annual fee. Now they are not responding to the calls. It is high time that banks should stop cheating customers and government regulatory body must take surprise audits of banks

                                    Hi,

                                    I am Vikas, I have purchased a product on amazon which costs 11336 with 3 months of no cost EMI. In this month I got extra charges of rupees 841+151GST on my bill. I called to customer care executive about the charges. They told that they had created a loan account seperately without a notice and telling they charged for that. I bought from Credit card but they are telling I have to pay the amount to that PLC account not to credit card. No bank will do that and i didn't get notice on that not even a message. Please help me out in this on priority this bank is not informing to the costomers and charging a lot of amount from the customers without their knowledge. People will pay to the card which they have used to but this bank making profits from them by that.

                                    I am facing the exact same issue. I think this is a meticulously engineered scheme to extort money. With multiple accounts to make payments to, also the probability to miss payments increases as many people directly pay on their card. As such, SC not only sits with a huge surplus sum accumulated from such payments for days or months but also preys upon the cardholders by charging them exorbitant fees like late charges etc. I think I'll do a comprehensive article with my publisher about how much this bank is raking in with such sinister schemes purposefully designed to dodge customers. I think a fair audit would reveal how the bank has ripped the Indian middle class to the tune of over 500 crores from with this single trickery. It is a very interesting story. I am collecting complaints of all such customers who have faced this particular issue and ended up paying ridiculous fees to these conglomerates.

                                      This request is regarding the Standard Chartered Bank credit card. I lost my credit card and raised a request for block and cancellation of my card but they are re-issuing me the credit card without my concent.

                                      They have also disabled the credit card cancellation option for Indian customers.

                                        Once Standard Charted sales team had visited our office. Sales team requested I to avail the SC credit card. I refused multiple times because I had a bad experience. They insisted me and said it is life time free card whether you use it or not. I did not know they were making a false commitment for the annual charges. I received message from SC bank related to overdue changes. I tried to visit customer care multiple times. But they had not helped me on this.

                                        Please help me to resolve this issue.
