Star Health And Allied Insurance — Denial of Cashless Facility

I have taken insurance policy on[protected] and three premiums have been paid. Last premium was paid on[protected]. On[protected] I was admitted in MIMS Hospital Kannur due to breathing difficulty. I was discharged on[protected] and an amount of Rs 1, 42, 178/- was the bill amount. I have claimed reimbursement of the bill amount. But the company rejected my request stating that the company could not ascertain the duration of the disease. Thereafter I was admitted in Indiana Hospital, Mangaluru and undergone angiogram and angioplasty on[protected]. Thereafter I was discharged from the Hospital on[protected]. Rs 3, 50000/- was the bill amount. Thereafter I have claimed reimbursement of the amount. That claim was also rejected stating the same reason. I was admitted in the India hospital due to intermittent chest pain. I never had cardiac problems before. I came across with heart disease first time on[protected].Therefore, it is requested to reimburse amount spent towards my treatment as an inpatient in the Hospitals mentioned above. Refusal to settle my claim is without any justification.
