We received a quote from Star Health Insurance for group student insurance and made an advance payment of Rs 85316 (for 1, 108 students at Rs 77 each) in November 2024. However, we still have not received the policy document. Despite multiple calls and messages, we only received the payment receipt two days ago. It has now been more than nine months since we began following up with Mr. Srinivasan[protected] and Mr. Vikraman ([protected])....

I am filing this complaint against Star Health Insurance for rejecting ₹30, 000 from my father’s hospitalization claim, despite submitting all valid documents. The total bill from Neptune Hospital, New Delhi (18/03/2025 to 22/03/2025), was ₹93, 155, of which only ₹59, 055 was settled.

I submitted:

Receipt No. 512 for ₹30, 000

Doctor’s signed letter explaining the charges

I have taken insurance policy on[protected] and three premiums have been paid. Last premium was paid on[protected]. On[protected] I was admitted in MIMS Hospital Kannur due to breathing difficulty. I was discharged on[protected] and an amount of Rs 1, 42, 178/- was the bill amount. I have claimed reimbursement of the bill amount. But the company rejected my request stating that the company could not ascertain the duration of the disease....

My Daughter Riddhi singh ill seriously and she was admitted to Paras Hospital Patna on Date:-09/01/2024 and due critical condition she was put on the Ventilation for four days from 09/01/2025 to 12/01/2025.I was send all test report, Medical report, Medical Bill submitted to Branch Office Patna .
As per Health Policy No- P/[protected]/2024/003528 Contract to pay all medical bill pay up to 5 Lakh but company refuse to pay Paras Hospital...

I had a very disappointing experience with staff from Star Health Insurance. I was interested in learning about their insurance plans, but her rude and unprofessional behavior completely changed my mind.

She called me first, and when I tried to ask questions about the policy, she became aggressive and dismissive. At one point, she even said, "Ye log kya premium denge?"

I am not interested in taking health insurance especially not from this fake nuisance health insurance. Nonsense people, nonsense company who will buy their policy when they irritate the people. Despite blocking their number keep on calling from different numbers. Nonsense....

I am writing this with so much frustration and disappointment. My daughter was admittted on 22-10-24 in kims hospital trivandrum, kerala for adenoidectomy surgery. My policy number is [protected] and claim number is CIR/2025/181123/1131112. Name of patient is Juanito MV.Initial approval was recieved on 23-10-24.But on discharge on 24-10-24, no reply recieved from star health end for final approval on discharge.

Hi,

I toolk Health insurance with Star health policy of P/700002/01/2024/092323 .

At the time of selling policy every 15 min they are calling continue for 20 days and after I took policy from them not responding though I am sending 1000 of mails and reaching in twitter also no use.

Whole top management and sale person Jagan also kept quite and not doing anything.

I have booked a health policy for Star health insurance thru policy bazaar (proposal ID[protected], it is a case of porting the existing policy. On 20th Jan-24, I have paid the full amount as the policy bazaar agent (Amit Trivedi) advised me.

my policy has been cancelled by company. I was continuing my policy since 2020 . In 2023 i had to pay my premium in 4 installments. My due date for last emi payment was 26 march 2023 but i couldn't pay due to closing of financial year though i talked to an starhealth executive.. They told me that grace period is 30 days you can pay anytime. I told them to pay within 10 days.. No one intimated me...

On daily basis i get around 4 to 5 annoying calls claiming to be start health insurance policy. Though i say them not to call me as iam not interested, representatives keep calling from different numbers.

This is to bring to your notice the misconduct by your verification officer Mr. Santosh Chand, (Emp. Code: SH34634, ID card enclosed) in April 2022 during his visits to my hospital.
He came for verification of one of the insured patient’s claims, but without any documents of the patient’s treatment in our hospital, any letter of verification from your company, or a consent letter from the patient...

Referring to mentioned subject it is to state that have opted for a policy from your company in the name of my mother PUSPHA ARORA ( Policy No. P/221116/01/2022/00/1230).
On dated 11/9/2021 a bill of Rs. 390731 was sent by the Eternal Hospital to Star Health and Allied Insurance co ltd for a claim, in which the amount of Rs. 24210 was deducted. The hospital has told you by his counseling letter( copy attached)...
