State Bank of India — Cash Deposit Machine Failure & Poor Grievance Redressal on Helpline

At 7:40 am on the above mentioned date I made a cash deposit of Rs.7, 000/- (14 notes of Rs.500/-) in the Vakola SBI Branch Machine. At the point of generating the slip, the machine gave a transaction rejected slip. The exact words as on the slip are "BNA-Deposit Transaction Rejected). There was no security guard at the ATM at that point of time to assist me with this problem. Also being a Public Holiday & Sunday the next day I am not able to communicate with anyone from the relevant branch.
On the slip a helpline number is given [protected], on speaking with the relevant customer care personnel on the phone I have found out that this complaint cannot be registered on the phone and can be only solved with speaking the branch personnels. Saying sorry a couple of times the personnel said he wouldn't be able to solve the problem.
As now I won't be in the city for a couple of months how am I suppose to solve this problem as I won't be able to meet the Branch personnel personally but can only speak with him/her on the phone 2 days later. My A/c no. is[protected]. I have checked my balance and the amount has not been credited. Request you to sort out this issue immediately as the money is being held in the machine with no fault of the SBI's account holder.
