State Bank Of India — pass book printer is always out of service and rudeness from staff | |||
My CIF No.: [protected]. This is regarding passbook updation for my minor daughter's SSAY account. Usually, there are 3 staffs in three counters there. One day I inquired the staff at the middle counter, he said tomorrow we will try to fix the passbook printer. After approximately, one month[protected] when I asked the guy at the first counter he told me to go to the first counter. The madam at the first counter cut me abruptly saying printing kiosk is outside of the bank and started receiving application from the next person. I told her the machine is repair for a period of more than a month. She gave the same reply given by the person in the middle counter about one month back. I told her that every-time i am getting the same reply that "tomorrow we will fix it" for which she rudely replied me "haven't you heard what I said now. The printing kiosk is outside the bank premises". Again I was ignored and she moved on to the next customer. I felt like a beggar being chased by rude person. The bank manager was also not available on that day to record my grievance. All other staffs were like insurance, gold loan issuing staffs who were in no way connected with account maintenance or printing. Having left with no staff to attend to my request, I went came out of the bank with lot of emotional stress that day all simply for getting my passbook printed which din't happen till now as the printing machine at the kiosk is still out of service. Not providing facility to update passbook is against banking codes and standards board of India guidelines. Help me to exercise my rights. Was this information helpful? | |||
