I used my SBI VISA debit card for payment on amazon.in for a Oneplus 3 mobile phone(order no[protected]) on 14th of September, 2016, amounting to Rs. 27, 999. The amount was deducted from my account and I received a text message regarding the same immediately with transaction no. GU[protected]. After 10 mins I again receive an email from Amazon.in stating that the transaction has been declined by the bank, so I opt Cash on Delivery instead.
Now the problem I am facing is that, though the payment was declined, the amount was still deducted from my account. So I contacted with Amazon.in regarding the same and I was told that the payment was Hard Declined by the bank, so the amount was never received on their end. So I checked with SBI and I was told that they could not tell me what happened with the amount, all they can do is to take a complaint regarding the same which is not guaranteed to solve the problem since they can't even understand the problem I am facing and it will also take 45 days for the problem to be resolved.
Now 13 working days and a total of 18 days have passed and I still have not received the money in my account. So I am filing this complaint regarding the amount not being reverted to my account till today, i.e. 01/10/2016. So I request you to please do the necessary so that my money is returned to my account immediately.
P.S. I have attached the bank statement showing the transaction underlined with a red pen.
