State Bank Of India [SBI] — Cheque clearance

I have deposited cheque in the bank on 13th of october and now its been 6 days now my cheque has not yet got cleared and when i go for asking about the reasons or details the staff just neglect the matter and say that go and check in mumbai branch, as this unvalid its bank's responsibilty to take actions and work in dept for customers. i am very much disappointed by the service.

see you must have any previous loan so that they have adjusted the amount, if this is the matter than file a written complain first, after that take necessary steps if they deduct without informing you they are liable to pay you compensate you. even as its already 6 days passed they are liable for heavy compensation.
