REPETITION OF WRONGFUL TDS DEDUCTION BY STATE BANK OF INDIA
On 30th December 2020 I received this message from SBI regarding closure of the complaint filed.It also stated that the tds wrongly debited was credited back to my account
However, on february 3rd 2021, another message has come which says the exact opposite. The bank has again debited tds from my interest. The bank has confirmed that they have the form 15g, yet they have debited tds. When the branch manager was asked her reply was “what to do? The system is automated, we cannot do anything. When informed of the legal background, she promised to look into it. This is the pongumoodu branch trivandrum. Kindly reverse the entry and please make corrections in your systems so that this error is not repeated and results in reptetitive complaints.vinod natesan
