I had applied for SBI SimplySave credit card in September 2017 and within a week after receiving the card, my account was debited with an amount of Rs 8990 in the name of www.indiamart.com transaction(on 26th September 2017). I was not aware
of this transaction and when I got the bill after completion of my first billing cycle, I reached out to the customer care over phone regarding the deduction and I was assured that it was done on behalf of SBI as a security sum to ensure that I don't escape from bill payment and that the amount would be credited to my account after some time and that it is .
I kept waiting for long thinking that SBI would credit the amount sooner or later but nothing happened. Hence I escalated the issue through mail last week to bring some accountability and credibility from SBI end. Today I got a call from SBI customer saying that the transaction was done by me and SBI has no involvement in this. Was this information helpful? |
