I have a saving account in SBI and is inoperative for Net banking, Mobile Banking, ATM, Mobile Banking, UPI or any other kind of payment transactions(debit) for more than 10 months.
But on 14/10/2020 night to 15/10/2020 early morning there was 24 SBI INB Txn (internet banking transaction) took place from my account to multiple online shopping websites and i lost my INR 10, 8, 525/- in this online fraud.
It is very clear case of fraud and crime as first the OTP was disabled for the payments below INR 10, 000/-.and at the peak time in the night the crime is executed. But there was a security breach from SBI bank. How come the change in the any kind of setting is first not asked for 2-step verification. How the OTP was disabled just by a single click ? why there was no confirmation communication done prior the changes.
there is a big scam going on because of this negligence of bank .
