State Bank Of India [SBI] — Fraud transaction in my account without otp confirmation | |||
I have a savings account in state bank of India, Kullu branch, Himachal. On 31th July 2020, 2 transactions happened through debit card to my account and debited around rs. 230/- and 16900/- without providing any OTP or PIN number. I have not received any otp (One time password) also to authenticate the transaction. one of the transaction message i got was like this and after that i got message from sbi that your card has been blocked due to suspicious activities. message was like this. SBIDrCard XXXX used for Rs 16900.00 at99999999 txn#[protected]. If not done fwd this sms to [protected]/call 18000111 Since i was not able to raise the complaint on the portal since i was getting error in sbi portal "we regret the inconvenience caused to you unable to lodge your complaint and through IVR unable to lodge due to COVID pandemic call wait time " i have not even shared my debit card details like (Card number, name on the card, expiry date, cvv) etc details to any body. Even the card is with me while these suspicious transaction had happened. So, i request sbi bank to refund the same amount and credit back to my savings account. Was this information helpful? | |||
