State Bank Of India [SBI] — hold my account without any intimation

Dear sir/madam,

This is rahavan sudhandhiraraj. My home address is 1/178, sankarapandiyapuram, vembakkottai taluk, virudhunagar district – 626201. I have maintained savings with salary account (Account no. [protected]) more than 7 years in the state bank of india, elayirampannai branch (Ifsc code : sbin0013833) virudhunagar district, tamilnadu – 626201.

I was gave a guarantor signature to mr. Veerapanneerselvam stayed in elayirampannai and he is having xerox shop in elayirampannai (200mtrs from state bank). He maybe not paying the dues from january 2018. I don’t know the reason and i don’t know this details, that he was not pay the dues. The banker (Staff name: mrs. Priya sujeevan) informed (By telephone conversation) me first time on 11.10.2018 @ 5.10pm about the details of borrower not paid the dues. And she said, we will send notice to you and your employer and also you must pay the dues, since you are the guarantor. I said to the banker, i will inform to the borrower and pushup him to pay the balance dues asap. You are intimated me today only, just you may inform me earlier or when he was not pay 1 or 2 months dues, you are informed suddenly. And also, i request her don’t send the notice to me and employer (But, bankers sent notice to me and employer of mine).

Borrower running the shop with materials in the elayirampannai nearest place of state bank of india. Bankers can be ask to borrower easily or hold the borrower savings account or freeze the materials from shop if he is not paid dues. Otherwise, bankers may be inform to me earlier about the issues of not paying the dues. Nobody informed to me (Guarantor) (Atleast can inform by telephonic). I have received the attached notice (From bank) on 12.10.2018 @ 4.00pm by the speed post. But, my savings account hold from 11.10.2018.

I am the government employee getting salary just rs.22050/- (Credited in sbi savings) per month and also i have 4 loans are running (2 loans debited ecs method from sbi) other 2 loans in other banks. How can i survey with this type of budget. And also i could not transact any amount from sbi account because the account was hold (Account number: [protected]). I am very much suffering this type illegal action taken by the bank. How can they hold my account without prior proper notice. Just informed just hold this is the state bank policy.

I am very much suffering because of holding my savings cum salary account. As a guarantor, i asked,

1. No earlier intimation about borrower not paying dues.

2. Dues can easily collect from borrower’s shop (Borrower is always in the shop only)

3. Bankers not giving me to push up/inform him to pay the dues.

4. How can bankers easily hold my account then how can i survey my life and how can i repay my loans.

5. After holding my account, i could not pay my loans and could not handle my family for daily expenses. This is my humble request to unhold my savings account immediately with excuse. And giving me a couple of months to push him to pay the balance dues and further paying properly in future loan.

Please, treat this letter as most urgent and take action immediately.
