[Resolved] State Bank Of India [SBI] — Insurance forcing

I have approached SBI for an education loan and in the last minute they have forced us to take SBI life Rinn Raksha insurance or threatened to not issue the loan. With my visa dates approaching, they delayed the loan sanction so that we would have no choice but to opt for the useless insurance. We can very well pay the bank back and we consistently have with our previous loans too. Being a valuable customer for over 20 years and having a Cibil score of over 800, I can only imagine what normal people go through in these banks.
