State Bank Of India [SBI] — Issuing of Cheque book only in Single Name instead of Joint name | |
Sir/Madam, I have my Saving Account No. [protected] in SBI Jagat Puri Branch (Branch Code 18662). Originally, this account was only in my name but as I am on verge of retirement, I got in done Joint with my wife name Smt Savita Srivastava which has been done by the Branch. Thereafter, I applied for a cheque book to be issued in my name and my wife name (Anil Kumar Srivastava and Smt Savita Srivastava) on 21.1.2017, yesterday, I got a cheque book printed only with my name which should be in both name otherwise how my wife either or survivor will operate this account. As Rs. 57 has already been deducted from my account, now it is requested that a new cheque book should be issued printed with my name and my wife name at the SBI cost at my address 10-A, Jagat Puri, Lane No. 4 Delhi-110051. 2. I got my this account transferred in the month of October, 2016 from Krishna Branch to Jagat Puri Branch, but on internet banking, it is still showing Krishna Branch, ideally, it should be updated. 3. I wanted to know BSR no. of Jagat Puri Branch, (Branch code 18662) as it is essential for pension purpose, but no body in the Branch could tell me even the Branch Manager is not aware about this. I shall be grateful, if this could be communicated to me at the earliest, as I am preparing for my pension papers.
