State Bank Of India [SBI] — Late payment charges | |||
My Simply save SBI Credit card no: [protected] I was working and staying in Bengalore and I took a credit card. By the time I received the card, I left the company and place and relocated to a new company in Hyderabad. Even my mobile number also changed. I requested to change my address, mobile number and others, instead of giving up the card (along with the outstanding amount) There was a huge delay in response from the bank for each communication. I did not give up. I tried and tried and finally successful in changing my mobile number, address. But was very much shocked when I check the statement. There were too many late payment charges and interest charges levied on the card. Actually I did not receive any statement from the bank. I requested to reverse all the charges. As usual too much delay in response. Even complained to nodal manager. Their mail says maximum response time is 8 days, but to my experience I never received any response in 8 days. And again and again for the duplicate documents. But as I am interested in the "SBI" card, I requested to reverse the charges to continue with the card. I am ready to pay only which I really incurred on the card (only 1 transaction I could really do). Was this information helpful? | |||
