[Resolved] State Bank Of India [SBI] — My mobile number is wrongly registered with someone else's SBI Bank account. | |
Hello It recently came to my notice that my mobile number i.e., [protected] is registered with someone's savings account at a SBI branch (not my home branch). I don't have any knowledge of that person nor do I reside in 24 paragana district. I am receiving updates as well as information regarding this bank accounts transactions in my mobile number. The account details I'm receiving are as follows: Last digits of account number: 9041 IFSC code: SBI0010541 I would like to let you know that the owner of this account has wrongly registered my mobile number in their bank account. I don't have any knowledge regarding the identity of the bank account holder. I request you to make the necessary changes and remove my phone number from the system i.e., in the account holders details. This action is an act of fraud and is causing me a lot of inconvenience. I will soon report this to national customer service support if any action regarding the same isn't taken. I'm enclosing messages I'm receiving on my mobile number in this regard. Oct 5, 2021 Complaint marked as Resolved My phone number was removed from the bank account of the person who registered it by mistake. State Bank of India [SBI] customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. | |
