[Resolved] State Bank Of India [SBI] — SBI Card asks customer to pay annual fee for a card that was not even delivered to the customer

My Credit card with SBI expired in June 2021 and a new card was sent to the residence where I wasnt living anymore. I was asked to submit proof of new residence which I did and the address was updated but the new card wasnt delivered. Now SBI is asking me to pay annual fee on the card which I have never received and is refusing to accept the mistake on their side. On calling customer care they abruptly disconnect my call without giving me a solution. I am now forced to pay the annual fee even to close the account.
