[Resolved]  State Bank Of India [SBI] — SBI credit card - Wrong charges raised - reversal requested

I ordered a digital camara on amazon portal on 24.01.2019 and paid amount of rs. 39989 through amazon pay using my sbi credit card bearing no . During transaction EMI option was opted for payment. But due to some reason, the order was cancelled same day and the balance was credited back in credit card statement but EMI of Rs 999 was imposed and not cancelled for the order which was not honoured and never executed. Later, penal interest was continuously imposed on EMI of Rs. 999 in subsequent bills for the order which was cancelled immediately on the same day. Now, even after several reminder and personal visit at sbi card jaipur office, penalty imposition has not been stopped and due bill amount has become Rs. 5692 from Rs 999.
Later complaint raised through INGRAM portal bearing Grievance Number: 2654965 / Complaint Ref No 1-[protected] dated 04.03.2021. It was responded that through amazon pay on 24/1 n same was cancelled and full refund was credited but he has been charged with Rs.999 as EMI. as checked there was no emi generated for said trnx and Rs.999 was debited towards AMAZON STANDING INSTRU MUMBAI on 23/02/2019. also, there was no dispute raised within time frame thus liability lies with customer. further o/s informed and settlement offered.
Not satisfied with reply. Resolution sought is still not provided even after perusing matter for more than year through various modes. Whatever already known and stated in application itself is reiterated in reply given. Further, it is falsely stated in reply that they have offered settlement. No settlement offered clarifying amount and terms & conditions of settlement till date. The reply is given has no use. It was requested to review the application and requested to provide settlement amount and terms & conditions thereof.
We are bound to pay what we have spent. We cannot bear the burden of what we haven't purchased ever. Even we don't know Rs 999/- was paid for what, if it is not an EMI as responded by SBI Cards. We never ever did this transaction. It is forcefully and falsely applied. Now we are being forced to pay this with penal interest and all which is affecting my CIBIL score continuously.
Therefore, SBI cards is requested to either reverse immediately the entire overdue amount charged for the EMI/unknown transaction or offer full and final settlement to clear this falsely imposed principal amount of Rs 999/- and penal interest etc thereon which is stated as due amount of Rs 5692/-at earliest otherwise we do not have any other remedy except take shelter of legal recourse.
