[Resolved] State Bank Of India [SBI] — tata sbi credit card malpractice

I applied for TATA sbi card xxxxxxxxxx2827. I have not received it yet but i have been sent a statement of 1, 085.74 INR. I have not used it . I was told that charges are 500 for card joining. I have written to them regarding it and they are still asking me to pay to avoid higher charges. I received by first reply from Kumud Prabhakar (Customer Services Head Team – SBI Card) and that too many days after I wrote. I told them to cancel the card and waive the charge since i have not used it. They are still asking me to pay.I don't know where to go. Today I have received a message saying, there has been a debit by Rs 147.50 from my SBI savings account.I dont think its because of the minimum balance to be maintained as I have more than 5k in my savings account though I stay in one of the urban cities . May I know the reason for this please.
