I have applied for the housing loan, SBI Max gain product on may2016. The construction of our house is 70% done, we have borrowed the money from relatives assuming that housing loan will be granted in 1 month. After chasing the bank manager and Home loan officer for around 4.5 months they have granted the term home loan(The reason they give for the delay is "AUDIT" and "Manager Change") in which case we have opted for SBI MAXGAIN, When I checked with the Branch manager, He is saying this was done by previous manager and go and ask him. Do I need to search previous manager location and ask him or I need to ask SBI present manager ?. When I asked to change the product to Max gain they are saying it cannot be done and I have to take term loan or take back my documents and apply in some other banks. Such a irresponsible and arrogant behavior by this manager. How can a nationalized Bank do this to its customer. They have kept all my documents for 6 months and wasted so much money in creating the documents and all. This is totally not acceptable for SBI
