I am having a sbi tata titanium card. I have been issued statement on 10th november 2018 wherein i am charged with annual fee of rs.499+ igst including cesses rs.89.82.
In this regard it is submitted that i have checked my spend analyser of my above mentioned card, according to which i have spend approx. Rs.2, 35, 000/- from 10th november 2017 to 10th october 2018.
I have also checked the details of tata croma titanium card on your website wherein it is clearly mentioned that on spending of more than rs. 1 lakhs the annual fee will be waived off.
I send mail to customer care of sbi card and they informed me that annual fee will be waived off in next month statement.
In response to their mail i mailed to the head of tata card that the annual fee is wrongly charged and a new statement may be issued so that i can pay my actual dues but i had not received any reply due to which i wrote to the customer service head and inform them all the matter through mail in response to which i received a mail that annual fee of rs.499 plus government service tax would reverse within 60 days from the date amount billed on your card account.
Sir, i like to know why i should pay for the amount which is wrongly charged to me. If a customer delays in credit card payment the bank charge a late fee including interest but in my case they are charging me wrong amount and i am advised to pay it and the same will be reversed in the next statement in order to avoid late fee. If the bank charge interest for the amount from the customer for any advances or late payment will it applicable to them also. Will i be received my payment of annual fee alongwith interest which is wrongly charged to me.
I have also emailed that i am ready to pay the actual amount due to me except annual fee which is wrongfully charged.
