Updated by Advocate VN There has been intimation received on my phone that Form H has been deleted by SBI on 24.12.2020 from the Income tax web site with my PAN Number.
My complaint herein is that despite Form G being uploaded, TDS was wrongfully deducted. I hope this deletion of Form H or G? is not destruction of evidence.
Secondly, I had complained in September 2020 regarding false dates being loaded onto the Income Tax Web Site by SBI and Form H being uploaded, instead of Form G, since I am not a senior citizen.
SBI HAS DONE NOTHING TILL DATE AND THE DELETION OF FORM H ON 24.12.2020 COULD BE A RESULT OF THIS DISCOVERY THAT THEIR STAFF HAS UPLOADED FALSE INFORMATION. PLEASE FIND ATTACHED EVIDENCE.

On 30th December 2020 I received this message from SBI regarding closure of the complaint filed. IT ALSO STATED THAT THE TDS WRONGLY DEBITED WAS CREDITED BACK TO MY ACCOUNT
HOWEVER, ON FEBRUARY 3RD 2021, ANOTHER MESSAGE HAS COME WHICH SAYS THE EXACT OPPOSITE. THE BANK HAS AGAIN DEBITED TDS FROM MY INTEREST. THE BANK HAS CONFIRMED THAT THEY HAVE THE FORM 15G, YET THEY HAVE DEBITED TDS. WHEN THE BRANCH MANAGER WAS ASKED HER REPLY WAS “WHAT TO DO? THE SYSTEM IS AUTOMATED, WE CANNOT DO ANYTHING. WHEN INFORMED OF THE LEGAL BACKGROUND, SHE PROMISED TO LOOK INTO IT. THIS IS THE PONGUMOODU BRANCH TRIVANDRUM. KINDLY REVERSE THE ENTRY AND PLEASE MAKE CORRECTIONS IN YOUR SYSTEMS SO THAT THIS ERROR IS NOT REPEATED AND RESULTS IN REPTETITIVE COMPLAINTS.VINOD NATESAN

Updated by Advocate VN The complaint remains unresolved. On5th February 2021 I received an SMS stating that the FORM 15G was uploaded. HOWEVER, THERE IS NO INTIMATION OF THE TDS DEDUCTION WHICH IS CLEARLY UNLAWFUL, GIVEN THE 15G UPLOADING, BEING REVERSED. THE AMOUNT IS RS 590/-
IT HAS BEEN NEARLY 20 DAYS SINCE THIS COMPLAINT WAS UPLOADED AND THERE IS NO RESPONSE

Updated by Advocate VN AN INTERESTING COUNTER POINT. THE FEDERAL BANK ALSO UPLOADED THE FORM 15G I GAVE THEM. THEY NEVER DEDUCTED TDS FROM THE INTEREST. INSTEAD THEY SENT ME THE FORM 16 A INDICATING NIL TDS DEDUCTED AND UPLOADED IT ON THE PAN ACCOUNT.
I FAIL TO UNDERSTAND WHY THE SBI SYSTEMS ARE NOT SIMILARLY PROGRAMMED?
