State Bank Of India — to Incometax dept for last three years by Oggiyam Duraipakkam Branch -Reg

My name: S.sathyanathan Address: 356 Secretariat Colony Duraipakkam Chennai 600097 Mobile no: [protected] Land line:[protected] email: [protected]@gmail.com) Account No:[protected] Branch code: 11932 (Oggiyam Duraipakkam Sbi Branch) I would like to submit that I am the first pensioner drawing pension from the said branch. I am drawing state govt pension for the last four years from said state bank of India branch. My Pension Pay Order no is: C 418160/SEC In this regard I would like to submit that SBI branch manager as a pension paying officer on behalf of State govt of Tamilnadu is disbursing my pension after deduction of Income Tax. I approached branch manager to give me income tax deduction particulars in the prescribed format to enable me to furnish the same to income tax dept in Form 16 every year. But unfortunately for the last four years from 2011-12 to till date no details were furnished to me by the branch managers inspite of many earnest requests in person and thru letters Every time whenever I approach them in person or over phone even from USA when I was there the branch managers were giving replies that all details are with Centralised Pay Pension Office of SBI at Chennai and no reply has been received from them at branch office and as soon as reply is received it will be provided to me. Same reply only I could receive from them till date and after much effort I received Income tax deduction statement for the years 2012 - 13 and 2013-14 only. I could not get the statement for the year 2011-12. Unless the statement in format as duly signed by branch manager I could not submit my Income tax Return to Income tax dept and it will amount to punishment against me by the Income tax dept. For the lack of service and indeligent performance of State Bank of India I should not be made punishable . Hence I request you to pull up Branch Manager and Assistant General Manager and other dealing officials in CPPC at Chennai to furnish Income Tax deduction particulars and pension details to me without further loss of time to enable me to submit my Tax returns to Income tax dept at least belatedly. I request you to attach top priority on the above issue. I have also talked to Smt.Ganga who is a complaint cell officer at chennai and she told she can not help me in the matter as only branch manager should do necessary help in getting details from centralised pay pension office and instead of oral complaints I should send mail to customer complaint cell .
